Hollyoaks spoilers: Bobby's fate revealed, emotional exit and Mason's huge decision

Hollyoaks child killer Bobby Costello (Jayden Fox) is due for sentencing next week.

Fans will know he’s responsible for the deaths of Silas Blissett and Verity Hutchinson and also didn’t help left Sylver McQueen to perish in a fire during the explosion at the Salon De Thé last year.

John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) and Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) ask James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) to hire a private investigator to find Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe).

Felix later finds her there and convinces her to come home.

Meanwhile, John Paul convinces Goldie McQueen (Chelcee Healey) to attend Bobby’s court hearing but she’s far from supportive.

Mercedes turns up to court just in time for Bobby’s verdict.

Later, Mercedes has a shocking confession to make for Tony (Nick Pickard) and Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher).

Also, Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams) is left heartbroken when Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) reveals that her mum is ready for her to move back in but Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts) has an idea for her to cheer him up.

The teen struggles to come clean to DeMarcus Westwood (Tomi Ade) about the fact she’s leaving.

However, he gets the wrong end of the stick and asks her to be his girlfriend.

At the park, Vicky finally comes clean to DeMarcus and when she doesn’t agree that long distance could work they leave it on a sour note.

Pearl Anderson (Dawn Hope) advises DeMarcus to talk to Vicky so they can work things out, so he asks for Scott’s help.

DeMarcus publicly tells Vicky how much she means to him with Scott in a starring role.

Elsewhere in the village, Mason Chen Williams (Frank Kauer) decides that he wants to go back to school and his parents support him.

The happiness is short-lived when they find out someone has started a petition to get Mason out of the school.

Dave Chen-Williams (Dominic Power) catches Mason skipping school and is horrified to discover that Mason is planning on visiting Eric Foster (Angus Castle-Doughty) in prison.

Honour Chen-Williams (Vera Chok) ambushes Eric by turning up to the visit instead of Mason in the hopes he can give her the insight she needs to help her son but things don’t go to plan.

Hollyoaks airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by first look episodes on E4 at 7pm
