Hollyoaks spoilers: Romeo's STI horror, Eric's fate revealed and unexpected village feud

Hollyoaks fans can expect plenty of drama next week as Romeo Nightingale (Owen Warner) worries he’s caught a sexually transmitted infection (STI).

After spending the night together, Romeo wants to confess his feelings to Rayne Royce (Jemma Donovan, but he’s not sure whether they are reciprocated.

After realising he may have contracted an STI, Romeo seeks advice from dad, James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan).

However, his approach to the topic with Rayne lands him in hot water when he makes a false accusation.

Later, some new information makes Romeo realise that he’s got the wrong end of the stick.

A determined Romeo turns to Lacey Lloyd (Annabelle Davis) for help in getting Rayne back with a tit for tat offer.

He’s all nerves as he sets up a grand romantic gesture, unique to his new flame, but will it be enough for a second chance?

Elsewhere in the village, it’s the day of evil Eric Hutchinson’s (Angus Castle-Doughty) hearing.

Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher) plans a get together with Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) and Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams) to cheer up Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard).

When Tony fails to show up, a drunken Diane makes a shocking confession to Maxine.

As Tony continues with his internal battle, best friend Darren Osbourne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) encourages him to talk to a professional.

Eric Hutchinson learns his fate after causing havoc in the village

Later, Tony lashes out and makes a bold decision to involve social services after threatening Warren Fox’s (Jamie Lomas) son Sebastian pushes Dee Dee off the adventure playground.

Determined to tire Tony out, Diane plans a night on the town, but whilst getting ready, Tony falls asleep on the couch – will he finally get a good night’s sleep?

Hollyoaks airs weeknights on Channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by first-look episodes on E4 at 7pm
