I’m a Celebrity…South Africa fans have complained after scenes featuring hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were ‘missing’ from the programme.
Viewers of the popular ITV reality programme tuned in to see I’m a Celeb: Unseen Bits tonight (May 19, 2023), which showed all the action that fans did not see during the latest series.
Dec could be heard saying: “One of my favourite parts of the series was getting to look down at the celebrities,” before Ant and Dec could be seen hiding in a wooden hut as they watched over the action in the camp from their “brand new peep hole.”

“Who could forget the moment we watched Gillian McKeith arrive in a massive crate?” Dec added.

Gillian could be seen surprising her fellow contestants, in what would become one of many surprise arrivals in the camp.
The contestants reactions to the arrival were shown, with Ant saying: “Shaun reunited with Gillian – he must be having flashbacks,” to which Dec laughed.
“Lets get this party started, McKeith is in,” he added.
However, fans took to social media to complain as they said Ant and Dec’s scenes in the hut should have been aired as part of the programme.

“We were robbed of Ant and Dec in their hut taking the p*** out of the celebs every night,” fumed one fan.
“How come Ant and Dec in their wee hut wasn’t a regular feature this series?” asked another.
Meanwhile, others commented on the amusing moment when host Dec complained about how low down the hole in the hut was.

Dec could be heard saying: “Whoever put this hole here, really underestimated how tall I am,” leaving co-host Ant laughing.
“How small do they think I was?” Dec asked.
Ant joked: “That’s like nipple height,” to which Dec replied: “I know I’m short but I’m not that short.”
The moment left viewers laughing too, with one fan commenting: “Making their peep hole really low down,” followed by a laughing emoji.
