ITV’s I’m A Celeb first look as Ant and Dec tease luxury hotel ahead of new series

We finally have our first look at the upcoming series of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity.

A brand new teaser trailer on Thursday (October 19) showed hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnely dressed up as hotel staff, complete with name badges. The pair were advertising a new “jungle retreat”.

First, we hear the iconic I’m A Celeb theme music with a long shot of a rainforest island. We then travel over the famous bridge where campmates cross over to get to their bushtucker trials.

This is before the scene is pulled into soft focus as a posh logo for the Jungle Retreat, which features a chic coat of arms graphic intertwined with a white inking of a cockroach that was emblazoned on the screen.

During the clip a voiceover says: “Come away with us. Far, far away, the Jungle Retreat awaits.” In keeping with the theme in new images, the long-running presenting pair are dressed up as pool staff ready to serve the new batch of celebrities.

However their cheeky grins with hints of sarcasm show they could be up to their usual mischief. Ant holds what look like a wooden broomstick as he gets ready to clean up after the new star line-up of names.

An exact start date is yet to be revealed for the new series, however it has been reported that it will come onto television screens towards the end of the year. The show usually airs at the end of November and it is understood it will run in its usual spot in the schedule.

The new series, which returns to Australia, will be the 23rd installment of the show. And it appears fans will get a new trailer set to air on ITV over the weekend.
