JLS announce comeback with huge UK reunion tour and DJ battle twist

JLS have announced they’ve reunited and are heading on a huge 15-date arena tour later this year – The Hits Tour.

The four-man boyband shot to fame on The X Factor back in 2008 and thrilled fans with hits like Everybody in Love before splitting in 2013.

The group – JB Gill, Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams and Marvin Humes – reunited for a UK tour in 2021, but they’re not done yet as they’re taking to the road again.

The next tour kicks off at Dublin’s 3Arena on October 20 before wrapping up on November 11 at Sheffield’s Utilita Arena.

The band will also come to London’s O2 Arena twice between November 9 and 10 as well as cities like Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester and Cardiff.

And this tour comes with a huge DJ twist as the boys won’t just be using those angelic singing voices of theirs but also taking part in a DJ battle on stage.

Confirming the comeback tour on Twitter, the band wrote: “The suspense is over… We couldn’t be more excited to announce another UK and Ireland arena tour later this year.

“Last time out was totally surreal and we’ve been eagerly awaiting the right time to do it all over again!!

“Playing live and seeing our amazing fans is definitely the BEST part of being JLS, we can’t wait to see you.”

JLS have been teasing fans about a possible announcement over the last few days with cryptic social media posts.

One fan tweeted: “The boys posting on the JLS account better mean there’s a good announcement coming soon, because I miss them, I miss tour and everything.”

Aston and JB gave a comical response to the tweet in a TikTok video, raising their eyebrows and saying: “Interesting.”

Speaking previously about touring with their children last year, the band told Daily Star: “It was nice to be able to share those moments with them.

“The kids were treating the arena like it was their playground, running around and having the time of their lives to seeing their dads and their uncles on the stage and taking it all in and it must be weird to them and exciting as well.”

Tickets for the EVERYBODY SAY JLS: The Hits Tour go on sale on Friday, March 3 at 9am.
