The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett admitted that he believes this year’s celebrity line-up is the “best cast yet.”
During his chat on The One Show with presenters Alex Jones and Roman Kemp, Joel confirmed that the cast is the “most relevant” with the reveals set to shock audiences.
“This is the best series yet, the best cast and probably the most relevant we’ve ever had,” he revealed.

Alex and Roman shared their shock at Joel’s revelation, causing Joel to share even more information about the show’s cast.
“Yeah, some really relevant people with a sprinkling of legend,” he teased while cracking a cheeky grin.

Joel then went on to share that the upcoming episode of the show will unmask someone “very famous.”
“Next week’s episode on Saturday, it’s someone VERY famous behind the mask,” he added.
So far, football legend Chris Kamara has been uncovered as Ghost from this year’s series and at the time of his elimination reportedly told host Joel that he’d watch the reveal with his grandkids: “My grandkids [and I], we will sit round together, ’cause they’ll have no idea.”
Host Alex Jones pointed the finger at Dragon’s Den judge Sarah Davies, who claimed she was trending on Saturday night for being Mitten, one of the unmasked characters.
Fellow Dragon, Peter Jones added more fuel to the fire, saying: “When (Sarah and Joel) walked up to each other, they looked like they knew each other, they shook hands!”

Fans have been speculating that Michelle Visage from RuPaul’s Drag Race is the LGBTQ+ icon behind the Jellyfish act that performed sweet rendition of Sweet Child O Mine in the last episode.
Speaking on The One Show on Wednesday, Michelle said: “If I told you, I’d ruin it.”
