Kesha has revealed that she was secretly engaged.

The 36-year-old Die Young songstress didn’t delve deep into who the mystery man was or any details about the failed engagement.

However, she confessed that they’re “still friends.”

The award-winning singer also confessed that her songs Too Far Gone and Gag Order on her upcoming album was inspired by her former boo and was written after they called things off.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, she explained that the track was the album’s dose of “pain and loss.”

Taking a deep dive into Kesha’s former relationships, the Praying songstress was in a long-term relationship with Brad Ashenfelter, who she had been dating since 2014.

The former couple kept details about their relationship tight-lipped during its duration.

However, on one rare occasion, they were snapped on a rather romantic and leisurely stroll on a beach in May 2021.

Talking about her relationship at the time, she said: “He’s a sweetheart, but he also lets me be me.”

Adding: “You know, I’ll call him and be like, ‘I had fun tonight, I met a sweet girl and we had a really good time.’ And he’ll say, ‘Cool, babe, I love you.’

“It’s so nice,” she added.

More recently, the blonde beauty has been linked to film producer and entertainment attorney Riccardo Maddalosso.

The pair were spotted sharing a kiss in Malibu outside the Japanese restaurant Nobu after being linked several times this year.

Kesha and Riccardo were spotted enjoying a hug last year in August after enjoying dinner in Los Angeles.

On another occasion, they were seen packing on the PDA following a night at the Oscar’s ceremony.

In June 2022, Kesha opened up about exploring her sexuality in a direct social media post.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, she wrote: “I’m not gay. I’m not straight. I don’t know what I am. I love people.”

Kesha continued: “I love people because we are all our own little consciousness journeys, dancing around the sun. How weird and interesting and fun this life is, right?”
