Love Island Haris dramatically dumped from villa hours after punch video emerges

Love Island hunk Haris Namani has reportedly been dramatically dumped from the South African villa.

It comes just hours after footage emerged of the 21-year-old salesman embroiled in a violent street fight.

Sources close to the hugely popular ITV2 show have claimed that Haris left the villa as as part of a planned eviction on the programme.

“It is, in part, a relief for the show’s bosses in light of the video of Haris in a street fight.”

The clip was released by The Sun newspaper and showed the star scrapping on a night out in Doncaster, Yorkshire, which happened last May.

In the video, which first surfaced on Snapchat, the reality star could be seen punching a man late at night before following him and knocking him to the ground with a second strike.

An apparent friend of Haris’ later told the publication: “We were all surprised when we heard Haris was going on Love Island.

“He’s got quite a bit of a temper on him and if someone says something he’s more than prepared to have a fight.

“He’s got an advantage being a boxer and he knows he can cause damage because he trains four times a week. He knows what he is capable of because of his training. That kind of stuff has to stay in the ring.”

They went on to add that they were surprised that ITV didn’t do further checks on the salesman because he’s that “type of guy”.

A Love Island spokesperson told The Sun: “Language and behaviour in the villa is always monitored, and Islanders are reminded of what we consider acceptable during their time on the show.

“Extensive duty of care protocols for all Islanders includes video training and guidance covering language and behaviour.”

During his short time on the show, fans have already seen the Doncaster-native’s fiery side after a snappy exchange with fellow Islander Shaq Muhammad last week.

The star was involved in a heated bust up with the airport security officer after a revealing game of ping pong, where Shaq branded Haris a “s***-stirrer”.

After the game, Haris asked bombshell David Salako if he enjoyed his kiss with Tanya Manhenga despite being coupled up with Shaq, 24.

Shaq claimed Haris was “immature” and the show’s youngest Islander defended himself by saying Shaq was trying to “dad him”.
