Love Island’s Lana and Ron in ‘furious’ row on plane with ITV bosses forced to intervene

Love Island runners up Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall reportedly locked horns in a “furious” clash on the lengthy flight home from South Africa, sources reveal.

It is understood ITV bosses were forced to intervene to break up the tense row while travelling thousands of feet up in the air.

And it appeared as though their heated argument was so bitter that the pair, both 25, spent their first night back in the UK apart to cool off.

One insider explained: “Lana and Ron had a furious argument on the plane home – the production crew had to step in and calm it down.

“They were so fuming they refused to film the ‘meeting the family’ part of the reunion show at Heathrow until producers stepped in again.

“They were due to star overnight in London together but after the fight they went back to their family homes separately to cool down.”

It comes after the finalists reunited with their friends and families for the first time at arrivals where they filmed the final part of their Love Island journey in front of adoring fans.

Loyal viewers will remember the pair had a rocky time in the South African villa after Ron’s head turned just weeks into the series.

However, it appeared as though they had put the worst of their struggles behind them in the days building up to the final before tensions flared on the flight home.
