Love Island’s Molly Marsh had ‘boyfriend’ who ‘doesn’t know’ about ITV2 stint

Love Island’s Molly Marsh reportedly told George Baggs that she had a boyfriend mere months before she went on the show.

The blonde influencer headed into the villa to have a summer of love, but it seems she might have found her partner just before joining the cast.

Gogglebox stars George and Joe Baggs spoke about Molly on their podcast and George recalled a moment he met her not too long ago.

George said: “We actually know Molly. I did think she had a boyfriend, I can’t lie. I spoke to her like two, three months ago at an event and she had a boyfriend. So that’s news to me.”

Joe added: “Oh I bet he’s a bit gutted right now watching this.”

George added: “He’s pissed, and he works on cruise ships and stuff doesn’t he, so he’s in the middle of The Atlantic Ocean.”

Joe cheekily responded: “He probably doesn’t even know. By the time he docks up he’s going to be watching Love Island.”

However George did add that he might be wrong, adding: “I probably am completely wrong if she’s going in there but that’s what I thought.”

All Love Island contestants are required to confirm they’re single to ITV ahead of going on the show.

It has been claimed though that she did have a little flirt with Jack Keating after he starred in Casa Amor last summer.

An insider told The Sun that the pair were texting and had a “real spark” when it first began.

They said the pair knew each other through her work as an influencer and he seemed “really keen” to get to know her better.

However it reportedly fizzled out before they met up as there was “less interest from Molly’s side”.

We’re now seeing Molly looking for love on-screen after being paired up with Mitchel Taylor in the public vote.

The duo have already said they’ve got a strong connection, but will their romance continue to blossom in the coming weeks?
