RuPaul’s Drag Race star Michelle Visage has revealed she’s eyeing up a role on EastEnders as Kat Slater’s cousin.
Speaking to The One Show hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas, Michelle explained her plans for the show, explaining that she wouldn’t be putting on a “fake East End accent” and instead could be herself.
“I come to town, I’m not looking for a permanent position I’m not going to fake an East End accent, I’m going to be me, from New Jersey,” she explained.

“I’m going in to be like ‘Kat!’, she hates me which is ever better, have that situation for like a week and then I go,” Michelle brainstormed.
Michelle shared more of her thought process behind her dream to be on the popular BBC soap and noted her and Kat’s similar fashion sense.
“Essentially, I thought ‘I wear leopard print more than Kat Slater wears leopard print, I’ve got leopard print everything'” she admitted.
“So I thought ‘Why can’t I be Kat’s American cousin!'” Michelle laughed.

Alex then asked Michelle whether her plan to be on the show had gone into motion yet, but Michelle sadly confirmed that nothing had started yet.
“We’re nowhere with it yet,” she stated before quickly changing her mood and hopefully adding: “Which is great, you can’t go down, you can only go up!”

While Michelle dreams about a role in Albert Square, ITV’s The Masked Singer fans have been speculating that she’s the celebrity behind the Jellyfish mask.
During the show, one fan tweeted: “Maybe I’m being a bit too obvious with jellyfish, but could it be michelle visage ? the clues gave me no inspiration really but the voice sounds a bit like her #maskedsingeruk.”
A second tweeted: “This is a tough one trying to guess who Jellyfish might be I’m thinking either Christina Aguilera or Michelle Visage? #MaskedSingerUK.”
