Naked and Afraid contestant Sam Mouzer had a painful crisis when a hot coal burnt his “little solder’s helmet” while he was sleeping.
TMZ shared a video of the incident ahead of the new season airing on Sunday (19 February.)
In the video Sam, from the UK, and fellow contestant, Lilly, are sleeping naked next to the flame when Sam suddenly screams out in pain.

Soon it became clear that something had gone terribly wrong.
Sam could be heard moaning and groaning in pain as the hot ashes hit his penis.
His facial expressions suggested he had experienced a tremendous amount of pain.

The video then flipped to a different scene and showed the naked contestant facing a tree while medics attempted to assist with his injury.
He said: “Thankfully this brave hero medic is going to make sure it’s not going to get infected.”
“It shouldn’t be too traumatizing,” the medic quipped as she presented medical ointment spread on what looked like an oversized Q-tip to the camera.

He joked: “Obviously we need everything extra large.”
It sounds as if Sam was a good sport reportedly laughing and staying calm while being treated by the professionals..
Luckily Sam has confirmed that his penis is fully working again, he told TMZ.
Sam said: “My penis, my member is all fully functional and in working order again, I’m happy to report.”

Despite the hardship, Sam made it back home after surviving 21 days in the wilderness — and is allegedly having sex with his wife again.
But he did bring home a little memento: a “very small blemish” on the tip of his penis, which he refers to as his “‘Naked and Afraid’ tattoo.”
The Season 15 premiere of “Naked and Afraid” streams Sunday, Feb. 19, on Discovery+ and will also air on the Discovery Channel.
