Neighbours legend expecting second child with wife and shares exact due date

Neighbours star Ben Nicholas is expecting his second child with wife Stephanie Lilja.

The actor, who is best known for playing Scott “Stingray” Timmins from 2004 to 2007, announced the exciting news on Instagram.

Ben and Stephanie are already parents to one-year-old Jesse and revealed they are adding another boy to their brood.

The snap was a mock movie poster titled “Pregnant 2”, featuring the couple and baby Jesse as they joked they were hoping for a girl this time around.

The poster included the plot line “The little boy we always wanted,” however the word boy had been written above girl, which had been crossed out.

The film summary on the poster read: “The story of one woman’s heroic journey to get 6 months off work,” followed by: “Exiting in January 2024.”

The former soap star added the caption: “We’re having another baby boy!! @stlilj has been incredible and can’t wait to meet the little dude in January!”

Stingray made his way to Ramsay Street in 2004 and was introduced as the cousin of long-running character Toadfish “Toadie” Rebechhi.”

He was involved in several major storylines within the three years, most notably his death which came shortly after he donated bone marrow to his niece who had been diagnosed with leukaemia.

16 years after he was last seen on the soap, Ben has undergone a career change and is now a video creator.

In February 2022, fans were devastated when it was announced Neighbours was being cancelled after 37 years on screen.

However, just months later, it was confirmed a revitalised series would be airing on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US.

It was reported the new series has made a racy change to keep viewers hooked as the show moves to streaming platforms.

Neighbours will return on Monday September 18 and will feature several original members of the cast, including Paul Robbinson star Stefan Dennis, Dr Karl Kennedy actor Alan Fletcher and plenty of others.
