Rihanna 'to announce first tour in seven years after Super Bowl show' and UK dates planned

Pop superstar Rihanna is reportedly on the verge of announcing a major comeback tour with UK dates included.

Firstly, however, the 34-year-old Barbadian has the small matter of a headline performance at the decorated Super Bowl half time show on February 12.

According to the Sun, once the dust has settled from the American Football flagship event, RiRi’s big reveal will be imminent and include details of her first new music since the release of her ‘Anti’ album seven years ago.

A music insider told the same outlet: “Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime performance will be one of the best of all time. She’s been working overtime on every element of the show.

“She has her North American dates ready to announce for 2023 after the Super Bowl and it will be a matter of time before European dates are announced for 2024. Her plan is to set up mini residencies in major cities rather than visit multiple places.

“She wants her next global outing to be swift and easy as she plans to refocus on Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty after her brief return to music.”

In her break from music Rihanna has been busy working on the Fenty beauty range and Savage x Fenty line of lingerie, which have propelled her into the world of billionaires.

And the superstar became a mum for the first time last year, giving birth to a baby boy she shares with boyfriend A$AP Rocky.

Last month, meanwhile, Rihanna sent fans into a frenzy after sharing a rare glimpse of her eight-month old baby.

She introduced him to the world with a TikTok video, her first on the platform, and showed him beaming from ear in a car seat.

Rihanna has been keen to keep her son out of the limelight and his name has yet to be revealed.

Daily Star has invited representatives for Rihanna to comment.
