Sam Smith has been spotted out in the town of Wigan doing ‘donuts’ in a car park.
The singer and songwriter has been spotted in the Greater Manchester town as they were filming their new video for their collaboration with hit DJ, Calvin Harris.
They were spotted by eagle-eyed fans in front of the DW Stadium for their third collaboration called Desire which was first released on Friday (August 11).

The summer anthem is currently climbing up the charts and the music video has already has notched up over 700,000 views on YouTube.

However, the pair seemed to have filmed portions of the video in an open-air car park near the famous stadium and their fans cannot quite believe it.
One fan took to X – formerly known as Twitter – where they posted: “Curious and (pleasantly) surprised to find that Calvin Harris and Sam Smith decided to film their new video outside the DW stadium in Wigan!”
Another joked: “Actually in tears at the thought of Sam Smith drifting his car in the DW car park.”
The new video featured a group of drag race drivers who meet up and drive around the concrete area as Sam sings and poses inside their own car, and viewers were amused to see the star driving in donut formation for the project.

However, despite the impressive look to the video, it appears that trained stunt drivers were behind the racing wheels.
The song first made its debut on the UK Top 20 charts where it peaked at number 12, but since then its garnered more than 18 million streams worldwide.
This comes after Calvin Harris made another cheeky move as he made a plastic surgery dig at music mogul, Simon Cowell.
The Scottish hitmaker, 39, on The One Show, where he recalled a bizarre experience he had at a hotel in Switzerland, recalling the boobs jobs that were available on the room service menu.
He explained: “I stayed in a hotel in Switzerland once, I checked in, I was a little bit hungry, so I looked at the room service menu and it was just full of cosmetic treatments… Botox, boob job, eyebrow lift.”
The international artist added: “I walked out of there looking like Simon Cowell. It was mad!” he said, before holding his cheeks and pulling his skin up to mock a facelift.
“I was only there for two days,” he said. “Insane!”
