The Chase fans swoon over 'gorgeous' ITV player before she sparks complaints

The Chase fans were left in awe of one contestant who they dubbed “gorgeous”.

Bradley Walsh welcomed four new hopefuls; Tony, Zoe, Rachael and Renj into the ITV studio to take on Darragh Ennis and try their luck at winning a cash prize.

The third player to take the stand was Liverpool-born beauty Rachael, and fans were straight on social media to swoon over the star.

After revealing she plans to spend any winnings on a trip to Australia to see family, Rachael secured £3,000 in the cash builder round.

The Menace offered the 30-year-old a low offer of £1,000 and a high offer of £48,000.

Speaking to her team, both Tony and Renj urged her to take the low offer to give her a better chance at getting through to the final chase.

“Come back with the one, if you feel confident,” said Ranj while Tony agreed: “I’m not doing this by myself so I’m more than happy for you to take the one.”

“To be honest, that’s a generous low offer,” admitted Rachael before confirming she would be taking the offer of £1,000.

Darragh, 43, revealed he thought it was the sensible choice, but it’s safe to say fans didn’t agree as they took to social media to fume over the decision.

“I just dont want rachael to get anything, low offer then acts like they brought back 70k,” fumed one fan.

Another added: “#TheChase Dear oh dear Taking the low offer and making hard work of that.”

“Hope she goes out…low offer taker #TheChase,” echoed another raging viewer.

Rachael managed to make it through to the final chase alongside Tony, but the quizzer was too good and caught them with 25 seconds remaining.

During the show, Darragh stuck with his decision to support Rachael for taking the low offer as he tweeted: “How happy was Rachael to get back? What a delightful contestant who picked the right offer. #TheChase.”
