The One Show's Alex Jones makes savage 'kids' dig at co-star Jermaine Jenas

The One Show’s Alex Jones made a savage dig at her co-star Jermaine Jenas.

On Wednesday’s show (January 18), Alex made the cheeky quip about her fellow presenter live on air.

In the previous segment, the hosts were talking about how to save money during the current cost of living crisis.

Jermaine finished the segment by saying: “Wow, £700, nice saving. I feel Chris’s pain though with the four kids, they like to hit the pocket.”

To which Alex cheekily responded: “Well, you brought it all on yourself, JJ. What can I say?”

Host Jermaine then blushed as they moved on to the next section of the show.

Jermaine and his wife Ellie share three children together, Geneva, nine, Olivia, five, and Jacob, one.

The ex-pro footballer also has a 15-year-old daughter, Sancha, from a previous relationship.

Jermaine took to Instagram in October 2021 to announce the arrival of his newborn son, Jacob.

He shared a sweet snap of his son and wrote: “Jacob Anthony Jenas, 08.10.21 You have no idea how loved you are! Good luck with three big sisters though!!”

This comes after ex-The One Show host Adrian Charles was said to be “fishing” for his old job back.

The TV presenter appeared on Tuesday’s programme (January 17) to promote his new book, titled The Good Drinker: How I Learned to Love Drinking Less.

One fan wrote: “One wrote: “Adrian Chiles fishing for his old job back here?? #TheOneShow.”

Whereas a second shared: “Adrian Chiles on #TheOneShow,” next to a meme that read “give me this job back”.
