“Terrific atmosphere on set today as per,” with a heart face emoji.

The pair are said to be “barely speaking” off-camera, with some critics including former This Morning star, Eamonn Homes saying they have put on an act.

“I think there should have been a special award for Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby for best actors,” he said on GB News.

Phil addressed the rumours and told The Sun: “We’re the best of friends – as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.

“Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her. The last few weeks haven’t been easy for either of us.”

Phil was left to present the show on his own as Holly headed off to Buckingham Palace to present the Prince’s Trust Awards winners on Wednesday (May 17).

She said: “I put my posh dress on today because later on this afternoon I am heading to Buckingham Palace and there the King will be, and we get to introduce the award winners to the King so he can say well done, which is all quite exciting isn’t it?”

The co-stars then shared a hug and a kiss before Holly went to join King Charles to congratulate the winners.
