This Morning's Dermot O'Leary suffers racy wardrobe malfunction in 'too tight jumper'

This Morning viewers were left rather distracted on Friday (February 17) morning when host Dermot O’Leary appeared in a very tight beige jumper with nothing on underneath.

Former X Factor host Dermot had only just started introducing the ITV daytime programme with co-host Alison Hammond when his choice of outfit caused a bit of a stir.

Eagle-eyed fans flocked to Twitter just minutes into the episode after spotting there was a rather cheeky issue with his outfit.

The presenter looked smart casual in the turtleneck sweater, but some worried the studio must have been a bit chilly after seeing what was going on underneath.

It’s because poor Dermot had his nipples protruding through the jumper in front of the cameras and the nation.

One tweeted: “Get @radioleary a big coat @AlisonHammond he’s clearly cold the poor dab [laughing emoji].”

Another wrote: “Dermot needs a vest under his too tight sweater.”

A third admitted Dermot was putting them off their breakfast as they cringed: “Dermot and his nipples put me off me cornflakes.”

One fan simply loved seeing Dermot and Alison hosting together as they were campaigning to get them made permanent presenters on the show.

They wrote: “Petition to have Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary permanent hosts on #thismorning.”

Even This Morning star Giles Brandreth mocked Dermot’s outfit when he cheekily called him “Beige boy”, joking that he hadn’t got the memo.

Leaping to his defence, Alison chimed in: “Hey, this is good for Dermot.”

Dermot himself said: “You know me, I’m always dark colours, normally. This for me is bringing the party.”

Unfortunately, it’s not the first wardrobe blunder he’s had this week as he forgot to do up his trousers on Wednesday’s show.

Fans noticed his zip was undone as he and co-host Josie Gibson learned how to make bread.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 10am
