This Morning's Gok Wan reveals huge new neck tattoo with deep meaning behind it

This Morning star Gok Wan has unveiled his huge new neck tattoo – and the heartwarming reason behind it.

The 48-year-old fashion expert took to his Instagram on Tuesday (March 21) to show off his latest body art.

In the snap, Gok can be seen posing side-on while flaunting his new inking which featured a flock of black birds.

The poignant design started at the top of his neck and ended just below his left ear.

In the caption, Gok, who has been a regular on TV screens since 2006, revealed the heartwarming reason behind the body art.

He wrote: “Today this happened for all the people in my life whom I love to help brings us a lifetime of optimism, gratitude and hope… thanks @illytattoo for your fine lines and detail.”

It didn’t take long for Gok’s loyal legion of fans to swarm the comments section with praise for his new tatt.

“I absolutely love this tattoo, so beautiful,” gushed one follower.

Another chimed in and said: “Love a good neck tattoo.”

“Bet that hurt,” proclaimed a third fan, while someone else agreed: “God that must have hurt.”

A fifth added: “Beautiful! The detail around the wings is impressive.”

“That looks agony but amazing,” penned a sixth person.

Another follower said: “This is one of the loveliest tattoos I’ve seen in terms of sentiment. Beautiful just like you x.”

In other Gok news, the TV legend gave a rather cryptic response when asked whether he misses Eamonn Holmes.

Earlier this month, Gok was discussing Eamonn’s departure from This Morning, with him joining GB News last year instead.

When asked if he specifically missed Eamonn on the set, Gok said: “Oh, I love all the (This Morning) family, I love all the family.”

He repeated to The Sun: “I love all the family”’

Since leaving This Morning, Eamonn has made his feelings about his time on the show pretty clear, claiming he wasn’t treated with “respect.”
