This Morning’s Josie Gibson gives honest opinion on co-stars after Phillip Schofield exit

This Morning star Josie Gibson has shared her honest opinions on her ITV co-stars following the departure of Phillip Schofield.

The 38-year-old, who first joined the daytime show in 2019, has been presenting alongside a number of well known faces. This includes Alison Hammond and long-standing show host Holly Willoughby.

But when sharing her thought on her co-hosts with The Mirror, Josie unsurprisingly didn’t have a bad word to say about any of them. When asked who her favourite colleague is, the former Big Brother star sang all of their praises.

“He is an absolute dream. We got on so well – he’s so easy and everyone speaks so highly of him. I’ve also worked with Vernon Kay and I loved him growing up, while Craig [Doyle] is hilarious.”

She addition to this, she also said Rochelle Humes is the “sweetest human on earth”. Sharing her thoughts on Andi Peters, Josie laughed that he looks “younger now” than he did when she was a child, watching him on-screen.

Josie previously opened up on how fabulous it is working alongside Holly Willoughby and how she has “the best job in the world.”

But although Josie was adamant that they all do a spectacular job, Josie appeared to have a soft spot for Alison Hammond.

She expressed: Obviously my favourite is Alison Hammond. I love Al – she’s got such a special energy. She is the kindest person on earth. You could ring Al and after the phone call, you feel a million dollars. You’d never know if she was in a bad mood because she’s too busy trying to make you feel good.”

Since Phillip’s departure from ITV in May, there has been a revolving door of presenters who have taken his place and presented alongside Holly. Phillip decided to leave the cooperation after he admitted to concealing a relationship with a much younger colleague.

In the latest presener shakeup news from the show, Good Morning Britain’s Ben Shephard has been announced as the latest star to present alongside Holly. He will join the show on Monday (September 25), stepping in for Craig Doyle.
