TOWIE's Bobby Norris is unrecognisable as he unveils jaw-dropping body transformation

TOWIE star Bobby Norris has opened up about his journey towards self-acceptance and body positivity as he reveals a hunk transformation.

For years, Bobby struggled with his body image and felt insecure about his slim frame, especially when compared to his muscular co-stars on the show.

Despite often appearing on screen wearing only a thong, Bobby hated everything about his body and felt that viewers perceived him as “weak” and “frail.”

He recalls feeling intimidated by the glamorous gym culture that surrounded him and built up a phobia in his head about going to the gym.

However, after conquering his fear, quitting smoking, and monitoring his alcohol intake, Bobby has finally achieved the muscular physique he always wanted.

In an interview with MailOnline, Bobby revealed that he had never been a “gym person” before, but had recently started training regularly and feels proud of the results he has achieved.

He said: “I never used to be a gym person, which anyone who’s watched me on TV over the last decade will know that I have never been one of the boys that’s been muscly.

“I used to be Bobby beansprout if I’m honest. I was scared of walking into a gym, and I built this phobia up in my head because you see all of these lovely bodies on social media and gym guys… I used to think it’s alright for them walking into a gym because they already look good.

“A lot of gyms can be quite posey, which I found intimidating. Some people literally go in full glam. I go to the most amazing gym, and I’ve never felt uncomfortable.

He credits his newfound confidence and body positivity to his dedication to a healthy lifestyle, saying that this isn’t just a diet, but a lifestyle for him.

Looking back at old episodes of TOWIE, Bobby barely recognizes himself, but feels proud of how far he has come.

He now feels comfortable in his own skin and hopes to inspire others to feel the same way.

He explained: “I see repeats of old TOWIE episodes, and I feel like I’m looking at a different person, which is so bizarre.

“I almost want to jump into the screen and help that boy I see.

“But I was self-conscious comparing myself to the other guys because they were like Adonis’s, they were chiselled, muscular and fair play to them it wasn’t their fault, they weren’t making me feel that way… it was my own insecurities.”
