10 Things I Hate About You star Andrew Keegan looks very different 25 years after the release of the much-loved film.

The 45-year-old heartthrob starred in the 1999 romantic comedy playing the role of fresh-faced Joey Donner. Andrew recently made a rare appearance on Australian TV and looked handsome as ever, but fans of the hit movie might have had to look twice to recognise him.

Back in February, Andrew was seen sporting a stubble moustache and dark hair during an interview on Channel Nine’s Today show. During his TV appearance, he reflected fondly on filming 10 Things I Hate About You.

He said: “We were very young and didn’t really know what we were getting into but we knew something magical was happening. We enjoyed that time together.”

After acting alongside Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles in the iconic movie, Andrew continued his successful career with roles in films like O and The Contract. In addition to this, he also played Wilson West in the popular series 7th Heaven.

The actor has also starred in shows such as Related and CSI: NY. In 2014, he worked with Ryan Guzman on April Rain.

But away from the spotlight, Andrew’s romantic relationships have been as interesting as his acting career. He has dated celebrities such as Jennifer Love Hewitt, LeAnn Rimes, Piper Perabo and Elisha Cuthbert over the years.

Keegan started seeing his girlfriend Arista Ilona in 2013, and they became parents to their first child. Thw couple share a girl named Aiya Rose who was born in 2016.

In 2014, Andrew became front page news whe Vice published an article claiming that he had started his own religion. When the American actor moved to Venice Beach, California in his early 20s, he evealed he “got immersed in the culture and the community,” which was heavily based in spirituality.

Speaking about what actually happened in a recent episode of Pod Meets World, Andrew said: “There was this interesting group of hippie types, if you will, in Venice. I’m sure if you went on the west side, there’s definitely a lot of spirituality.

“I was connected with some folks and we had this opportunity. This old Hare Krishna Temple, it was sitting there empty and we were like, ‘Why don’t we get some people together and let’s open this place up?'”
