Abbey Clancy has issued an update on baby number five – but Peter Crouch is not too keen.
The model and footy star are one of the UK’s much-loved showbiz couples. Since meeting in 2006 and tying the knot in 2011, Abbey and Peter have gone from strength to strength.
The pair are also proud parents to two daughters and two sons; Sophia, 13, Liberty, eight, Johnny, six, and Jack, four. But it seems Abbey wants to add to her brood, as she is “craving” a baby.

During Tuesday’s episode of the couple’s podcast, Therapy Crouch, the conversation soon turned to the topic of growing their family. However, it seems Peter is not too impressed.

Abbey revealed: “I’m, like, craving a baby at the moment. I’d definitely have another baby. I’m probably too old now.”
Peter chimed in and disagreed. He dubbed Abbey “a sucker for punishment” for wanting to have a larger family. The footy star then claimed it “couldn’t have gone any better” for him and Abbey as their four kids were “all healthy” and they had welcomed “two of each.”
Abbey fired back: “I think the kids would love a baby.” But hubby Peter was adamant and proclaimed: “There’s absolutely, like, no way… I don’t know what’s wrong with you.”
The couple then discussed parenthood and Abbey gushed: “The best thing about being a parent is creating these lives and bringing them into the world and seeing their different personalities flourish. It’s unconditional love. You don’t know anything like it.
“The fact that two people who love each other can make something so gorgeous is lovely, isn’t it?” she went on. Peter agreed and said he enjoyed “seeing what they’re gonna be.” He added: “Every day they do something that gives you joy.”
In March, Abbey revealed the hilarious way her husband “punishes” her in the bedroom if they’ve had a row. Speaking on their Therapy Crouch podcast, 38-year old model Abbey explained: “If we go to bed not speaking, Pete puts pyjamas on. I’m delighted. I’m like, ‘yes.’
She continued: “I actually call them ‘the punishment pyjamas’ because it’s like I’m not allowed to see his naked body as punishment. It’s so funny.” Abbey went on to add that her 43-year old spouse once slammed the door so hard it jammed, leaving her trapped behind it.
