Alison Hammond laughs as she admits ‘deadly’ habit in ITV This Morning studio

Alison Hammond has let slip a cheeky secret about what she sometimes does on the set of ITV’s This Morning.

The telly star, who’s been brightening up our mornings since 2021, was speaking while on another show when she opened up about her habit. She was having a laugh on the Sky Max quiz show called Rob Beckett’s Smart TV, where she’s one of the team captains. Alongside her are stars including Josh Widdicombe, host Rob Beckett, and Natasia Demetriou.

There is an episode coming up this Thursday with guests like Chris Packham, Charlie Cooper, and Natalie Cassidy. In a sneak peek Alison is seen dishing the dirt while everyone has a giggle. In the clip, Alison jokes: “I’m not really a farter, to be fair.”

But then Natalie from EastEnders chips in with: “That’s not what I’ve heard.”, reports the Mirror. Alison, who was once on Big Brother, then tells everyone: “I’m like a little princess.” But the host, Rob, can’t resist asking if she ever lets one rip on This Morning. Alison owns up with a giggle: “Oh, deadly! ” She has a good chuckle about it with the crowd.

Then she goes on to talk more about her time on the show. She cheekily remarks on the panel show: “Proper deadly and I won’t say nothing.” The teaser clip wraps up with Alison revealing how she manages the habit on set. She said: “I’ll just be hosting and then I’ll look at Dermot and [smirk].”

Rob Beckett’s Smart TV kicked off last month. It’s been dubbed a “fast-paced comedy quiz show,” with different celeb guests joining the regular participants each week. The first series is thought to have eight episodes. Three episodes have already aired, with the fourth due to be shown later this week on Sky Max and NOW. Stars who have already graced the show include Russell Tovey, Nicola Coughlan, Richard Ayoade and Roman Kemp.

A blurb for Rob Beckett’s Smart TV teases about the series: “From the creators of Never Mind the Buzzcocks comes a brand-new, fast-paced comedy quiz show all about the magic of television.” It’s a “funny celebration of the shows we know and love,” according to a description.

The broadcaster has also shared what viewers can expect from each episode of the new show: “Each week big-name actors, comics, presenters and personalities will join Rob, [Alison and Josh] to battle it out in a series of chaotic, trivia-infused rounds to discover who knows the most about TV.”
