Celebrity Big Brother fans believe Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith could have pulled out of the show.
ITV’s star-studded reboot of the iconic reality show is airing its launch on Monday (March 4), where this year’s housemates will be revealed. Lorraine Kelly spoke about the rumoured line-up on her ITV show, but sparked confusion when she didn’t mention the Princess of Wales’ uncle.
A graphic appeared with the rumoured stars, which included stars like X Factor judges Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne, and Corrie actor Colson Smith. This Morning star Fern Briton was also seen on the screen.
However, Gary wasn’t shown, prompting viewers to wonder if he has withdrawn from the show. And Love Island star Chloe Burrows did appear in the graphic, suggesting she might be stepping into the house.

One fan on X wrote: “Is there something we don’t know..?! Why did Lorraine talk about the rumoured cast but instead of Gary Goldsmith, they have Chloe Burrows from love island?!”.

Another commented: “Is Gary Goldsmith about to do a Stormy Daniels #CBB #CBBUK”. A third commented: “It seems like Chloe could be also entering the house tonight… Lorraine did the rumours and all the names were on that confirmed list apart from Chloe hmmm #CBBUK”.
Lorraine’s reporter Tyler West said he didn’t believe anybody was quitting before the launch. But fans will have to tune in to find out.

It comes after reports that the Princess’ family are unhappy about Goldsmith being on the reality show. It’s also claimed the Palace may be worried about what Gary might say about the royals.
A source told The Sun: “Gary said he’s been read the riot act by Kate’s mum Carole and her dad Michael. They aren’t happy he’s going into Celebrity Big Brother. It is infuriating for them. Kate doesn’t need this stress”.

The Princess has stepped away from public duties to recover at home following abdominal surgery. Her last public outing was in December.
