Fire broke out at Calvin Harris’ LA mansion on Wednesday evening resulting in £80,000 worth of damage, according to reports.
DJ Calvin, who celebrated his 40th birthday last month, had emergency services attend his Beverly Hills property following reports of the smell of smoke and a possible third-floor blaze. The Los Angeles Fire Department dispatched 20 firefighters to the scene, whilst an eye witness claimed a helicopter also responded to the call.
The source of the fire was reportedly discovered near the Feel So Close star’s theatre room, with firefighters needing an hour to extinguish the flames that had engulfed the area close to an air-conditioning system.

According to US outlet TMZ it is believed the blaze was the result of an electrical issue, and thankfully nobody was harmed in the incident.

The same publication states that Calvin has not resided at the the property for several years, choosing instead to live in Ibiza where he reportedly owns 138 acres of farming land. His LA address is leased to another individual, meanwhile.
A source told the Sun of his lifestyle in the Mediterranean: “Calvin employs an expert team including farmers and chefs. But that hasn’t stopped him getting involved and he regularly gets his hands dirty, helping to plant seeds and everything else involved in running a farm.”

Calvin – born Adam Richard Wiles in Dumfries, Scotland to English parents – married BBC Radio 1’s Vick Hope at Hulne Priory, Northumberland in front of a congregation that included radio DJs Vernon Kay and Scott Mills, and Big Brother presenter, AJ Odudu in September last year.
After the loved-up pair declared their vows to one another, guests were treated to a performance by Nile Rodgers and Chic featuring tracks by David Bowie, Madonna and Pharrell Williams.

In stunning surroundings, food was provided from burger and pizza stalls, whilst a Nigerian cuisine kiosk proved a nod towards 34-year old Vick’s heritage.
And teepees and tents were set up around the several-thousand acre site – owned by the Duke of Northumberland – offered guests a place to stay for the night after a lavish firework display in the evening.
