EastEnders fans are convinced Nadine is faking her pregnancy and is working with a Walford legend to take Jay Brown down.
The sex worker, played by Jazzy Phoenix, rocked up to Walford back in September last year – and soon got the attention of Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick). Fans will recall the character faced heartache in the past 12 months following the death of Lola Pearce.
Lola (Danielle Harold) was tragically killed off from the soap in May 2023 after battling a brain tumour. After meeting Nadine, he found comfort in the soap newcomer.

At first he merely paid her to sleep next to him after he was unable to switch off at night. Things then took a dark turn for Jay – who has been on the soap since 2006.
Unstable and on a downward spiral, he ended up begging, and ultimately scoring, some drugs from Nadine. The pair also had sex for the first time which caused the beloved character to spiral further.
After getting kicked out, Jay got involved in a horror car crash while under the influence of drugs. Luckily, Jay pulled through – but Nadine appeared to disappear from Walford.

However, this week, she made her return to the soap – and had a big surprise for Jay. In Monday’s episode (April 15) Nadine left him a voice note telling him she needed to see him and it was urgent.
And during Tuesday’s instalment (April 16) the pair met up – and Nadine revealed she was pregnant with his child. Stunned at the revelation, Jay got up and walked out.

But fans now reckon the blonde beauty is lying about being pregnant. What’s more, they claim she could be working with a past Walford resident to get revenge on Jay.
On an EastEnders fan Facebook page, one person said: “Ooooh! Is Jay the daddy or does Nadine have an agenda? Thoughts???” Someone else replied: “I’d say Nadine has an agenda – defo lying.”
A third chimed in and wrote: “She’s probably trying to trap him.” Another added: “I’m calling it. Nadine’s faking the pregnancy. Even if she is, how does she even know it’s jays without a DNA test?”

Echoing their thoughts, a fifth viewer mused: “I really can’t see her being pregnant. Maybe she’s going to try and scam him?”
While on a Reddit thread, one fan claimed Nadine could be working with none other than Emma Harding (Patsy Kensit) in a bid to get custody of her granddaughter Lexi. Fans will recall that Emma is the mother of Lola.
Emma caused plenty or drama during her stint on the show last year. She ended up sleeping with Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) to blackmail him to give her custody of Lexi – which failed.

And the character hasn’t been seen since – but viewers are certain she is ‘working with’ Nadine to take Jay down. The fan on Reddit wrote: “I think she will plot with Emma to get custody of Lexi. Emma needs to go imo.”
While on X, formerly known as Twitter, other fans echoed that theory. A viewer penned: “Emma working with Nadine as she wants Lexi?” Someone else added: “Nadine is wracked with guilt bcos the baby ain’t Jays!! This has Emma written all over it…”
