While sitting on the sofa, which is covered with her late mum Lisa Dingle’s crochet blanket, Tom tried it on with Belle but she wasn’t interested due to Vinny being upstairs and also her family could walk in at any given moment. After sulking at not getting his own way, Tom manipulated Belle to have sex on the living room rug. After making love, Belle let slip that Vinny was a virgin and Tom didn’t waste time in making his discovery known.

As Vinny walked down stairs, Belle was keen to check he was felling okay but Tom instead zipped up his trousers, insulating they had been passionate with his wife. Vinny quickly realised what Tom was hinting at and the evil vet reassured him that he’d know what it would be like “one day” and he hoped they didn’t “disturb him”.

Vinny was shocked after learning Belle had revealed his secret

“Through our storyline we’ve been trying to find new and innovative ways to tell this story and we have a bit of a special episode coming up where we kind of do what everyone seems to like and step away from our usual Emmerdale format and do things a little differently. So it’s a dinner party mainly focusing on Belle and Tom, and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry).

“We’ll see what goes on in their relationships but through the special way we’ve done it is that we’ll see behind closed doors. I’ll leave you to work out what that might be!” With Tom left disappointed at the news that his wife isn’t pregnant with his child, has Belle put herself in more danger?
