GMB star repulses Ben Shephard over cheeky comment as he quips ‘you’ve changed’

Good Morning Britain’s Ben Shephard was not too impressed by his GMB co-stars rather vulgar outburst.

The ITV show was back for another instalment on Friday (January 12) with hosts Ben and Charlotte Hawkins back at the helm. But things took an awkward turn when Charlotte issued a rather gross comment to Ben.

Throughout the show, eagle-eyed fans noticed Ben drinking from a suspicious-looking cup on the table. Curious, plenty of viewers were keen to find out what it was.

“Ben I have a question for you from the viewers,” said Ben’s GMB co-star Louisa James. “Everyone wants to know what’s in that glass. Is it whiskey someone has asked? Is it cloudy cider?”

Viewer wanted to know what Ben was drinking

However, suddenly Charlotte interrupted and quipped: “It’s actually wee.” And it’s fair to fair to say Ben was repulsed by her comment. As their co-stars shrieked out, he fumed: “Charlotte! Charlotte Hawkins!”

She replied: “I’m just saying, that’s what it looks like.” But Ben wasn’t having it. He insisted: “No it’s not, it’s a good energy drink. I’m trying to cut down on a bit caffeine.”

Charlotte then quipped: “I thought you went all Bear Grills on us.” Chuckling, Ben replied back: “Yes stick it on the desk.”

He turned to his co-star and added: “You’ve changed Charlotte Hawkins.” She then replied: “I don’t know where that came from.”

It comes after things took an unexpected turn on GMB earlier this week when a rude sign appeared on the show. On Wednesday (January 10) reporter Louise James was outside parliament in London.

Charlotte and Ben were back to front GMB

Unfortunately for Louisa, protestors used her TV message as an opportunity to share their opinions on the UK government. Standing directly behind her, the protestors held up signs which read “stop the Tories,” “cost of Tory crisis” as well as a sign of a bull taking a dump, with the word “Tory” above it.

Susanna and Richard who were in the ITV studio ignored the commotion taking place behind Louisa – who appeared via video link. But fans at home were quick to point it out.
