Hollyoaks Ella’s real killer ‘exposed’ as fans ‘work out’ link to newcomer Kitty

Hollyoaks newcomer Kitty Draper is in danger of having her secret exposed as fans believe they’ve figured out the real connection to Ella Richardson’s death.

Kitty, who made a dramatic entrance on the Channel 4 soap last month during a massive car crash stunt, stole someone’s identity before running away from the scene. Her real name is Ivy Shaw and she was a passenger in one of the crashed cars.

The actual Kitty was driving and died instantly at the scene. Ivy took her ID and has been living as Kitty in the village since then but viewers reckon there’s more to this story and the crash, possibly linked to teenager Ella’s death.

Spoilers for the upcoming episodes show that as Kitty gets closer to a villager, she becomes suspicious to another. Mention of the recent crash triggers a panic attack in her as she tries to hide her actions.

Kitty, or rather Ivy, saw that the driver had died and left the scene without helping any trapped or injured villagers. No one knows she was there or that she’s taken the identity of the crash victim.

When police detective Zoe brings up the crash, Kitty is shaken and finds solace in Beau but Theresa’s question leaves her startled once again. Theresa, who was also in the crash and got stuck while Kitty dashed by, wonders where she’s seen her before. Theresa thinks she knows Kitty from somewhere, and Kitty freaks out and sends Theresa packing from the pub.

Even though Theresa says sorry, Beau can’t figure out how they know each other, leaving Kitty miffed is she keeping more secrets? Fans are now thinking that maybe Ste Hay didn’t cause Ella’s death in the crash, after a car hit the young girl.

Some viewers are now guessing if the real Kitty was behind the wheel when Ella was hit, which could explain why Ivy is so worried about the crash and Ella being gone. One fan wrote online: “The way she acted when she heard Ella’s name,” while another guessed: “I think it was the car she was in that hit Ella.”

Another viewer thought: “Could it be possible that Kitty, who was driving the car that Ivy was in…. the same Kitty whose identity she stole… is the car that actually killed Ella?” And one more said: “Wait, what if it wasn’t actually Ste or Felix who accidentally hit poor Ella but the random stranger whose identify Kitty’s clearly now stolen?”

Hollyoaks airs weeknights on E4 at 7pm followed by first-look epsidoes on Channel 4 streaming site
