‘I lived with Love Island’s Callum and Molly and I’m convinced they’ll get back together’

Love Island star Ched Uzor has shared his thoughts about his former co-stars Callum Jones and Molly Smith’s ongoing drama in the villa.

The personal trainer, 27, lived with the former couple in 2020 when they all appeared on the first-ever Winter series of the ITV2 dating show. Ched coupled up with glamorous win Jess Gale and scaffolder Callum found love with blonde bombshell Molly.

While Ched and Jess’ romance fizzled out four years ago during the coronavirus pandemic, Callum and Molly ended up getting into a relationship and moved in together. However, their relationship came to an end six months ago and they are both now on Love Island: All Stars in a bid for a second chance at finding “the one”.

Callum and Molly have been living together in the South Africa villa for just over week and there’s already been tears and tense showdowns between the exes as they try to move on from their past.

Speaking to Daily Star on behalf of stocklytics.com, Ched said: “I feel like if they wanted to make it work they’d make it work because if you’ve been with someone almost four years there’s an amount of love that you’d can’t just walk by.

“I believe they’ve only been split six months so there must still be something there deep down. I think they want to explore other people first but I feel like they will come back together. They probably need that time apart first just to see and sort everything out. They are a good couple.”

Exes Molly and Callum are both on Love Island: All Stars in a bid for a second chance at finding “the one”.

Molly and Callum are currently coupled up after she picked up in the latest recoupling but it appears he may have his eye on co-star Georgia Steele and Molly has also locked lips with hunky Chris Taylor.

As the drama kicks off in the villa, fans won’t be seeing Ched, who runs his own online coaching business, return as a bombshell despite him admitting that he’s turned down the offer twice. He said: “I’ve been asked twice but I’m in a relationship. I met her in 2017 but we got together in 2021.”

Following reports that his ex Jess could be heading back to the villa, he said: “I haven’t seen Jess since 2020. I still see her online but I haven’t seen her in person. We still say happy birthday and we’re civil. If she goes back in good for her. There was nothing huge there between me and her for me to be upset if she went back into the villa.”

Love Island All Stars airs nightly on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
