Lizzie Cundy ‘terrified’ as burglars target home and crash car whilst she was in bath

GB News star Lizzie Cundy has been left shaken after discovering two men had tried to enter her home while she was taking a bath.

The 55-year-old, was “luckily” supported by her local and rural community, who had raced to her aid and phoned the police after spotting suspicious people lurking about. Officers attended the scene within minutes and spooked the suspected “burglars”.

After being scared off by the feds, the two men fled the scene, crashing into Lizzie fence and overturning their car in the process. Police made an attempt to arrest the offenders but they made off into the night.

Wanting to warn her local community, the former Page 3 star took to her Instagram platform to share with fans what had happened. While hailing the Hampshire constabulary for their attempts to catch those who had targeted her home.

She wrote: “So this happened last night. After a lovely dinner with a friend, I was taking a bath and heard a huge bang and noise downstairs.

“Someone sounded like they were trying to get in my house. Luckily a passing farmer saw someone lurking around and thought it was suspicious and called the police immediately.”

The former pinup went on to explain: “Thankfully the police came around in minutes to my home but the 2 men drove off into my fence with such speed they overturned their car as you can see from the photo above . They then ran off into the night and the police couldn’t catch them .

“I just want to say a huge thank you to Hampshire police who came over so quickly and stayed with me. The police were amazing.”

Urging people to be more vigilant in future, the mum-of-two signed off with: “This is happening way too often especially in rural areas. We all need to look after each other.

“Thankfully someone did for me. If anyone knows anything please contact Hampshire police. I’m felling very blessed today I wasn’t hurt or anyone else, keep safe.”
