Love Island ‘chaos’ as fan favourite ‘pulls out of All Stars at the last minute’

Love Island beauty Belle Hassan revealed that she pulled out of the All Stars series at the last minute after she met ‘The One’.

The stunning 25-year-old beauty was all set to return to the ITV villa in the heart of South Africa – but her life was turned upside down when she met Scottish rugby star Luke Crosbie. The brunette beauty shot to fame on the hugely popular reality show back in 2019.

During her time on the show, she met another Scottish hunk, her now ex-Anton Danyluk in series five. The makeup artist is the daughter of movie hardman Tamer Hassan, who has appeared in The Football Factory, The Business and Games of Thrones.

Since she left the show, her make-up business has blown up online with the star quickly becoming one of the biggest beauty influencers online. So it’s no surprise bosses were desperate to sign her up.

Now, the reality star has revealed why she turned down the opportunity to return to ITV show after she met the hunky sportsman, explaining “everything happens for a reason.” Speaking to The Sun she revealed: “I was approached to do the show and then I met someone, and I was like, ‘Oh, no, this is not good, is it?’ I finally found the one and I’ve got that lined up.

“And then I thought, it’s just not really right for me at the time where I’m at in my life. I mean, if you have a 6ft five rugby player, you probably wouldn’t want to do the show either.” Belle admitted that she went through all the background and psychiatric tests and filmed her opening interview before she pulled out of the show.

She went on; “After all that, I was like, I don’t want to do this. This isn’t for me. I’ve kind of moved past that stage in my life.” The TV personality admitted another reason why she pulled out of the show was because she would have as brilliant a time a second time around because it was “so great” during her first stint.

She added: “Some things you just can’t do twice.” Although Belle turned down the opportunity to return to the show, her ex-boyfriend Anton is hoping to find love a second time around. Anton will be joining the likes of Georgia Harrison, Toby Aromolaran, and Chris Taylor.

It comes after the 29-year-old beefcake revealed that he has continued a rather awkward tradition with his mum as he heads into the All Stars villa. After he was announced to be taking part for a second time, ITV released an interview with the cheeky Scotsman, he admitted that his mum continues to shave his bum for him, five years after the extraordinary revelation.

He explained: “I am famously known for shaving my bum and just for the record, she still does.” Clearly embarrassed at his revelation, Anton burst into laughter as he tried to save face.

When asked why he wants to return to the show, he revealed how he believed “having everything but no one to share it with is the ultimate failure” for him. He insisted that he was looking to “settle down” and “find the right person” that he may potentially find in the villa for a second time.

The show will be broadcast on both ITV1 and ITV2 for the first time in the show’s history. Love Island kicks off on Monday, January 15 at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX.
