Love Island couple confirm split as ‘heartbroken’ star left ‘not feeling too good’

Love Island Australia’s Zac Nunns has revealed his heartbreak as he and fellow contestant Lucinda Strafford have ended their relationship.

The couple, who met on the show in 2023, navigated a long-distance relationship with Lucinda even spending Christmas in Australia. However, they’ve now parted ways, with Zac sharing on Instagram that he was “not feeling too good”.

He wrote: “Hey guys, just thought I’d let you know that Lucinda and I have decided to go our separate ways. I’m not feeling too good about the situation and appreciate all the support so far.”

Reports suggest that the split may be due to Lucinda wanting to “pursue opportunities on Love Island : All Stars” after her stint on the UK version of Love Island in 2021 where she was coupled up with Brad McClelland and Aaron Francis. Meanwhile, a source revealed Zac was “heartbroken” after splitting up.

“This hurts to hear, I’m so sorry” someone else shared. Zac had chatted about moving in with Lucinda in the UK before they broke up. “After the show wrapped up I went straight to the UK with Lucinda, then we went to Paris, Portugal and travelled around the UK together. We had the best time,” he shared. He also said, “Eventually I’m going to move in with Lucinda in the UK.”

It was only last month the former lovebirds, who were runners-up on the reality show, were seen packing on the PDA at an event in Sydney, Australia. The news comes just days after the handsome reality star signed on with NEON MGMT. Prior to their split, the pair revealed plans to move in together.

“After the show wrapped up I went straight to the UK with Lucinda, then we went to Paris, Portugal and travelled around the UK together. We had the best time. Eventually I’m going to move in with Lucinda in the UK,” Zac told 9Entertainment at the time.
