Love Island fans slam boys’ ‘criminal behaviour’ after villa favourite is sent packing

Love Island fans have slammed the show’s boys and its producers after Kaz Kamwi was dramatically dumped from the villa on Tuesday night.

The latest installment closed with another recoupling, which left the 29-year old series seven star without a partner and therefore heading home. Her fate was sealed after Chris chose to remain with Joanna as expected.

Kaz had hooked up with Casey earlier in the series, but he soon set his sights on twin bombshells Jess and Eve – and it was no surprise when the latter chose to couple up with him following a flirty chat earlier in the episode.

Fans immediately took to X (formerly Twitter) to vent their frustrations, meanwhile. One user commented: “It’s actually criminal behaviour that no lads are chasing after Kaz, she’s stunnnning inside and out #loveisland.” A second added: “Kaz is the only one genuine person at the Villa this boys lost a real one.”

A third said: “Poor Kaz. The producers really didn’t put one man in there for her yet did for all the other girls.” Another agreed: “I can’t stand to watch Kaz stood up there on her own, producers you have done our girl DIRTY #LoveIsland.” And a fifth wrote: “You know what? I’m p***ed Kaz may be leaving but I’m happy she got to be on our screens again. She’s so lovely and I hope this venture fattened her pockets! #LoveIslandAllStars.”

Speaking in the aftermath of her exit, Kaz was left to reflect on her experience to host Maya Jama. “I feel like my journey came to a natural end as I didn’t find a romantic connection but I made some amazing friends,” she explained. “I’ve had a great experience and I’m content that it was my time to go.”

The Essex girl went on to speak fondly of Casey, despite him pursuing the twins. “Casey is lovely, we get along very well but I struggled to get past our friendship,” she said. “When Casey walked in and he had history with Georgia H, I assumed they would rekindle so maybe I friendzoned myself a little bit.”

And discussing her shock at seeing her ex, Tyler, enter the villa, she added: “I was shocked. I just didn’t expect him to walk through the door at all. We started bickering a little bit and I thought, oh no, here we go again but we really got on. We got to a point where we just respected each other’s individual experiences in the Villa. Once he started to get to know Hannah I knew I didn’t want to be the person in the middle of that.”

Now, Kaz thinks Molly and Tom or Sophie and Josh have what it takes to be crowned winners in two weeks time. “They all spend so much time in their couples, always gravitating towards each other,” she continued. “They all have really strong connections and have been patient with each other.”

Kaz closed by revealing her favourite memories she will take from her second experience as an Islander. “The times we were all together just being silly,” she said. “Forming friendships and hanging out around the pool. They were the moments that really brought us together.”
