Love Island hit with more drama as series two bombshell returns days before final

Love Island bosses are hoping that their newest bombshell to enter the All Stars villa will “send the villa into a spin”.

Fans of the show are being urged to tune into the latest instalment of the hit ITV dating show on Friday (February 9). Producers are also hoping that the newest addition to the line-up will rock the villa and put even the strongest couples to the test.

The Sun has revealed that the next bombshell to enter the villa is season two hunk Adam Maxted, who first appeared on the show in 2016. He is due to enter the South African house immediately after the tense double dumping that will see four Islander given the boot.

Maxted, now aged 31, shot to fame when he made it to the final with then partner Katie Salmon. Finishing in a respectable fourth place, the pair eventually decided to call time on their relationship – with Adam fully leaning into his passion and becoming a full-time wrestler.

Speaking about his explosive entrance to the show, an insider said that bosses are hoping Adam will stir things up as the show enters the home strait. “Adam is very easy on the eye – he’s built like a Gladiator and covered in tattoos, so he is bound to turn some heads and cause trouble as the show approaches its final week,” the source said.

It seems that Adam’s arrival will only mean trouble for one of the boys already in the villa. The insider also revealed that with Adam’s entrance, this will prompt the unlucky chap to pack his bags and leave – though, which boy it is remains to be seen.

The insider added: “Hot on the heels of that double dumping, Adam will arrive, sending the villa into a spin.”

The source finished by revealing that he will have the opportunity to steal one of the girls for himself, leaving one Islander single and therefore, dumped from the villa. The insider gave no information as to who the Islander was, but did give away that it was a “fan favourite”.

Fans of the show already clocked that Adam would be coming back to the show at some point, and with Adam’s previous bombshell history, ITV bosses are hoping that his entry will bring the biggest test to the couples so far.

Adam won the hearts of the nation in 2016 when he struggled to find a girl on the show, including Olivia Buckland – who dumped him for her now-husband Alex Bowen. He was also coupled up with Zara Holland and Tina Stinnes during his time in the villa before finally finishing with Katie.

Love Island: All Stars airs every Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
