Love Island star Jack Fincham ‘charged with drug-driving and other offences’

Former Love Island star Jack Fincham has been charged with multiple driving offences after being pulled over by police last year.

The 31-year old, who rose to fame on the 2018 series of the show which he won with then-girlfriend Dani Dyer, is said to have been stopped in the hard shoulder of the A2 near Dartford, Kent. Following the alleged incident, which occurred on August 26 last year, Jack faces charges of drug-driving, careless driving, driving without insurance, and using false number plates.

Now, Jack, who has returned to his job as a pen salesman after a stint as influencer in the wake of his ITV success, will reportedly appear before a magistrate on March 13, according to The Sun.

“He was also charged with fraudulently using a registration mark, namely a false number plate.”

After he was stopped by police last year, Jack pulled out of the US spin-off show Love Island Games which was due to start weeks after his arrest.

However, it was reported that the reason for his swift change of plans was that he felt MTV’s Ex On The Beach would be a better fit for him and that he preferred to do that show instead.

But Jack hasn’t completely written off Love Island in the future. Speaking to BritishGambler.co.uk he said: “Without a shadow of a doubt [I would go back].

“If I was back in there, or any show that is filmed when you’re just there, you being you, that’s the real person. Exactly the same Jack Fincham you saw five years ago.” But he admitted he wants to be “selfish” this year and is focusing on taking a breather and putting his mental health first.

Daily Star has approached a representative for Jack Fincham for comment.
