Love Island’s Georgia H clashes with Anton’s mum in nail-biting first meeting

Love Island star Anton Danyluk was left wincing after his mum clashed with girlfriend Georgia Harrison.

The Scottish lad, 29, shot to fame in 2019 when he appeared on the ITV show alongside some of the biggest names to come from the show, including Molly Mae Hague, Tommy Fury and Maura Higgins. After five years, however, he came back to the villa in an all-stars edition of the show, where he bonded with his current lady Georgia, also 29.

Despite some initial hesitations from Georgia on whether Anton was “too nice” for her, the couple began to work on their spark and came out of the show falling hard for each other. Since then, the pair have gone from strength to strength as they continue to see each other weeks after the spin-off show ended.

Following his success on the show, Anton took on a new project in the form of a podcast, which he co-hosts with darling mum Sherie Ann. Titled What’s the Crack, the name comes from the awkward revelation Anton made when he admitted his mum still shaves his bum for him.

In the show, Sherie Ann and Anton sit down to discuss their relationship as a mother and son, as well as giving loyal fans updates on what they get up to. But in the latest episode of the show, things became rather tense as Anton shocked his mum by introducing her to his girlfriend on the podcast itself.

Whilst recording the episode, Scottish hunk Anton admitted: “Me and Georgia are getting to a really good stage in our relationship and you need to meet soon rather than later. So I’ve actually asked her to come along today to do the podcast.”

Sherrie Ann, clearly blindsided by the revelation, responded: “You want me to meet Georgia for the first time on a podcast? Have you thought this through?”

However, a determined Anton went through with it, explaining in a candid but poignant moment. “There has always been that barrier between who I’m with and my mum, so I thought why not bring the two of you together!”

Georgia then sat down and joined the duo on the show, but the air had turned tense, and when Anton asked if there was anything the pair wanted to get off their chest, Sherie Ann went in all guns blazing.

Turning to her son’s new flame, Sherie Ann blasted: “I lost sleep over you, you did my nut in.” Harrison, clearly stunned, responded: “I am sorry, honestly I never once spoke badly of Anton.”

But Sherie Ann was having none of it, pulling Georgia up on her time in the villa: “You said he gave you the f***ing ick!” Georgia was quick to defend herself, however, as she fired back: “That is not speaking bad of him that is just communicating how I am feeling at the time!”

The air was full with tension for the rest of the podcast, with Sherie Ann making a last dig at the end of the show, saying that “time will tell” if the girls will get on. However, the pair were all smiles when they were pictured alongside Anton to help promote the newest edition of their show.

Anton has an intrinsically close relationship with his mum and shocked his fellow Islanders and viewers alike when he admitted she shaves his bum. At the time, Sherie Ann went on to defend herself after he made the admission, clarifying to the Daily Record: “It’s something I do every couple of weeks and it’s no big deal in our house.”
