Netflix fans rave about new ’10 out of 10′ series – but it has just six episodes

Netflix fans can’t get enough of Parasyte: The Grey, with some viewers hailing the series as “10 out of 10”.

After binging the likes of One Day and Fool Me Once in less than 72 hours, it’s been tough trying to fill the empty void with something just as addictive to watch again.

One of the latest drops on the streaming site has certainly been causing waves with many fans saying “it’s the best thing they’ve ever watched”. They do however have one tiny complaint, that six episodes simply aren’t enough.

A LADbible Facebook group was seeing lots of positivity from streamers who were more than happy to weigh in with their honest reviews. When asked if Parasyte: The Grey was worth the watch, they were all in agreement that it’s not one to miss.

Some avid Netflix goers revealed they’d actually binged the entire six series in one sitting. One person penned: “This series came yesterday, I want honest reviews that it worth to watch.”

Another person chimed in with: “Just watched it in one day I loved it!” A third agreed: “Watching it now… I’m on ep 3 100% worth the binge watch!”

Others added: “Just finished. It’s a must watch, 10 out of 10” and: “I absolutely loved this. Exciting, quite scary… Mostly great acting and fabulous direction and sound design. The director is the guy who directed and wrote Train to Busan.”

The series follows a shop assistant, Jeong Su-In who quickly realises she is not like the rest of humanity or at least it seems. When mysterious spores begin to free-fall from the sky questions are raised and a parasite is born.

While the people aren’t fully aware of what the spores are exactly doing to begin with, it becomes apparent that parasites are taking over the human minds when inhibited. The exception seems to be only Jeong Su-In who becomes infected but remains in control of her own brain.

A special task force known as The Grey form in a bid to take down the parasite and stop it from taking over mankind. With Su-In being the exception, she works hand-in-hand with the authorities in a desperate bid to find a solution.

The six episode long series which was originally based on the Hitoshi Iwaaki, manga series Kiseiju, has left fans wanting more. Viewers are demanding a second season already.

Over on X, formerly Twitter: One person said: “The last scene in Parasyte: The Grey, season 2? Or What?” As another added: “I need Parasyte: The Grey, season 2 right now.”
