It comes after fans were begging for a new show about the Owen family’s renovation project after star Amanda gave them a peek on Instagram.

The famous family’s Channel 5 series is based on life at Ravenseat Farm and has been a huge hit with viewers.

So now that they are doing up a property on the side, views want to follow that too. Amanda is thought to have bought the empty 18th century pad with husband Clive before they split in 2022, and they plan to do it up and make it a habitable home. There has been a talk of the project being filmed for a new show and fans are desperately hoping that it happens.

This week Amanda fuelled excitement when she shared a snap on Instagram that revealed work was under way at High Smithy Holme, which is known as Anty John’s. The post was mainly images of her children working with sheep on the farm, as Amanda told fans that it had been “windy and wild on the tops today”. But the last snap showed Anty John’s in the distance.

The project looked to be in the early stages as scaffolding could be seen over around half of the building. Machinery could just be made out in the foreground of the imposing building, which is sat by itself and surrounded by fields.
