Rebel Wilson slips into swimsuit as she shares 2st weight gain in emotional confession

Rebel Wilson has shared an emotional confession regarding her recent weight gain.

The stunning actress posted a stunning swimsuit snap on Instagram as she gave fans an update on her fitness journey. The blonde bombshell slipped into a black one-piece as she enjoyed a dip in the sun.

However, told fans how she was feeling on the inside and wrote: “Working really hard has meant that, coz of all the stress, I’ve gained 14kg’s (30 pounds)! It makes me feel bad about myself…it shouldn’t…but it does. I’m really proud of the work I’ve been doing on new movies and my memoir, it’s just been a LOT and I’ve lost focus on my healthy lifestyle. Anyone else going through the same thing? (Update: I woke up this morning and read all your comments – they bring a tear to my eye. Thanks everyone!)”

Many of her followers flock to the comment section to support the star on her journey – with many sharing their own stories. One person wrote: “Sometimes life asks us to put something down in order to pick something else up. Focusing on work and creating something you’re proud of is no small feat- you should be very proud. Try and be easy on yourself, and ease into this chapter with as much love for yourself as you have for the work you’ve done.”

A second added: “Your body is allowed to be comfortable. Keep up with your healthy choices and fitness, but allow for the joy and little things that make you happy. At the end of the day, your weight and body don’t define you. We’ll love you whatever you weigh. I also struggle with this. It takes ages to drop the weight, and it comes back within weeks. That’s because your body has its own idea of where it wants you to be.

“I’ve been sedentary lately and snacking too much, but I’m getting back in the swing of things, but at the end of the day, I’m becoming loving toward all my forms. Also the weight you want to be at may not actually be where you need to be. Maybe there’s a more sustainable middle ground. For me I kept trying to get to 150lbs for my BMI (which btw is crap) and went from 200lbs to 160lbs.”

While a third penned: “Literally me. Stress ate and put that much back on after losing close to 40kgs. My “skinny” clothes dont fit and I’m sad. Hopefully my willpower will return to kick my butt back into gear again. You’re not alone x”

Whereas a fourth posted: “If your healthy lifestyle can’t be maintained in your current life then perhaps it’s too regimented and not sustainable? Do you feel unhealthy now or do you feel shame because of that old patriarchal one size only is how a woman should be? Healthy is not about size only it’s about so much more, starting with loving yourself. You’ll find your way back to healthy food and self care, just go easy on yourself. Women need to be kinder to themselves imo.”
