Roman Kemp’s mortifying virginity story left him ‘close to tears’ after sex blunder

Roman Kemp once shared a mortifying sex confession about losing his virginity which left him “close to tears”.

Back in 2021, the 30-year-old broadcaster appeared on one of the final episodes of Celebrity Juice alongside host Leigh Francis – who plays Keith Lemon – Emily Atack and Laura Whitmore. It didn’t take long before things took a cheeky turn on the ITV comedy show when the fiery redhead asked the radio presenter: “You’re still a virgin, aren’t you?”

It was at this point that the TV star shared the candid confession about his first time being intimate with a woman. He told the 50-year-old host: “I think it must have lasted all around 2.7 seconds to 3 seconds.

“And I remember being so embarrassed that I just quickly went, ‘I gotta go to the toilet’ like this. So I went to the toilet, came back out, made some excuse, but then had to replace a new condom on and try again in the most painful fashion for around 40 minutes, pretending that something’s happening when it’s not.

“I was so close to tears,” he admitted. After his awkward confession on the comedy panel show, it’s fair to say the hunk won’t be sharing any more sexy confessions any time soon.

Roman previously confessed that he is “far too tired” to date as he continues to put his all into his hugely popular breakfast show on Capital FM. He said: “I am far too tired to date.

“I’ve done it all – dating apps, I’ve chatted to people on Instagram and all that kinda stuff. But when it comes to actually meeting up, I just can’t be bothered. I honestly can’t.”

Speaking to the Football, Feminism and Everything in Between podcast, he shared how important the show is to him, which has quickly become the main priority in his life. He told listeners: “I genuinely feel like I’m you know, realistically, who is my girlfriend and who am I married to?

“I’m married to, selfishly, my show. The reason I don’t drink during the week, the reason I try my best to go to bed early, and the reason I try and do what I do is to make that show sound as good as possible.

“I love that radio show and if a girlfriend got in the way of that she’d be gone.” The presenter’s last public relationship was with his girlfriend of three years Anne-Sophie Flury.

The couple first announced their romance in early 2018 but eventually decided to go their separate ways back in June 2020. The pair shared a year-old chihuahua called Luna, which Anne-Sophie is believed to have kept following the separation.

A few weeks after the split, Roman joined the celebrity dating app Raya. A source close to the DJ said: “Roman loved Soph and things had been going really well for them.

“But being in lockdown is tough for any couple and they just weren’t able to make things work, which has been upsetting and tough for them both.” Since his split, Roman has been linked to Kate Moss’ sister Lottie Moss.
