Salma Hayek stunned fans as she stripped down to a tiny blue bikini for a holiday snap – but with one worrying detail.
The Magic Mike actress, 57, laid her curves out on display in a navy blue halter-neck bra tied in the middle with flimsy pieces of string. Snapping a selfie from above, Salma’s bottoms were mostly hidden, though she tossed an orange and turquoise striped towel over her waist.
Completing her beach-ready ensemble were a huge pair of reflective blue shades and a silver daisy pendant necklace fixed around her throat. Salma fixed her brunette hair up into a high ponytail with curls escaping in the wind while relaxing on what looked to be a wooden boat in the ocean.

She let her tanned frame do the talking, swiping on a simple peach lipgloss while gazing into the lens. But it was her caption that left fans panicked for a second, with Salma writing: “It’s okay to be blue #azul.” Some fans worried Salma was upset, as she attached the meaning of the colour to her post.

According to her post, “blue is the colour most commonly associated with harmony, faithfulness, confidence, distance, infinity, the imagination, cold, and sometimes with sadness.” She also attached connotations of the word “sea” – which also spooked some users.
The post says sea can “represent emotions, new beginnings and purification. As our emotions are ever changing, so is water. Water indicates hope as it will help fade away negative emotions over time”.
Thankfully it seemed Salma was only feeling the positives, as her final post read: “As free as the ocean.” Nevertheless, one fan said in the comments section: “You had me fretting for a second there.”

Someone else said: “No way!! I was making a blue Salma edit right now. You look spectacular as always queen.” And a third social media user echoed: “Beautiful in any colour.” Even Kim Kardashian and Jessica Alba were quick to comment blue love heart emojis of their own.
Despite her ageless appearance, Salma confirmed she’s not yet been able to quit smoking after being spotted puffing on a cigarette in Los Angeles traffic earlier this week. She previously hated cigarettes, but learned how to smoke properly for her role as Frida Kahlo in a biopic about her life.

Salma confessed: “I hated cigarettes and I had to learn how to do it for the movie… When I started, I was smoking some horrible, old Mexican cigarettes without a filter, because that’s what used to smoke. So, at the beginning, I used to throw up after a couple of scenes and then I actually got addicted to that thing that I hated so much.”
Salma quit for two years when she was pregnant and then breastfeeding, branding smoking the “s***iest vice you could possibly pick” – but it appears she hasn’t quite managed to kick the habit.
