The Chase welcomed a contestant who reminded viewers of a major Netflix star.
On Friday’s episode (January 12), host Bradley Walsh introduced English Literature student Evie to viewers at home as she did her best to win the ITV jackpot. Unfortunately for her, after bagging £5k in the cash builder, she was eliminated by Sinnerman.
Though before her dismissal, fans were quick to comment online about how she reminded them of a Wednesday Addams as they gushed over her beauty and unique personality. One wrote: “I’ll bet a lot of money that Evie dresses up as Wednesday Addams every Halloween!! #TheChase”

A second added: “Wednesday Addams tribute band” While a third posted a pic of Wednesday, played by Jenna Ortega, and wrote “Vibes”.
Others added “Come on seat 2 #TheChase” and “Evie [sic’] #TheChase” along with a string of heart-eye emojis. Whereas, one more put: “She’s a bundle of fun #thechase”
Earlier on in the show, Bradley asked her what she gets up to in her spare time and what she would spend her winnings on.
Evie revealed: “I really like musical theatre. My favourite one is Les Mis. I’m like unhealthily obsessed with it. I’ve seen it, I want to say five times, I wouldn’t see it more if it wasn’t so expensive.”
Bradley then asked: “If you won some money today what are you going to do with it?” She answered: “Honestly, just put it towards Les Mis tickets or maybe I’d see some other shows as well because it’s the problem is I only really can see one when I go.
“If I won a lot, I could maybe stay for a couple of nights and just see a few West End shows.”
Unfortunately for Evie, she didn’t manage to beat the chaser and needed just one more answer to get herself back on the bench.
