Weighing on the gig, actor Zach Braff tweeted along with a clip of Bow Wow’s performance, “I thought about it and have decided I’m not willing to die for Bow Wow,” Zach Braff tweeted. “Insecure” star Natasha Rothwell agreed that Bow Wow’s performance wasn’t worthy to die for, writing, “For… Bow Wow…?”
#OscarsSoWhite creator April Reign chimed in, “Y’all clowned Bow Wow for having 15 women in that rowboat, acting like he was doing something special, so he threw a whole mask-optional concert in the middle of a [pandemic]. Mr. Wow’s ego sure is fragile. And potentially deadly.”
Bow Wow responded to the backlash in a series of now-deleted tweets on Saturday. The actor/reality TV star, whose real name is Shad Gregory Moss, wrote, “I just woke up… aww god. Here we go.” Defending himself for the gig, he claimed that he wore his mask until he was up onstage.
“Man i been hosting parties all last year,” so he wrote. “I wore my mask in the club. I cant host with that thing on. I promise my mask i wore in the club up until i got on the mic. That simple. Keep sanitizer on me at all times.”

    Sep 16, 2020
AceShowbiz – Rather than breaking his silence normally, Bow Wow apparently chooses to address rumors of him having a baby with model Olivia Sky through his music. He seemingly confirmed the existence of the little bundle of joy when he shared on Tuesday, September 15 a snippet for his new song “D.W.M.O.D.”
In an audio clip shared on his Instagram account, Bow Wow could be heard rapping, “Shai askin’ about a brother, I don’t know what to say/ That’s gon’ be one of them talks we have face-to-face/ I’m lookin’ in his eyes, I’m trying to see me in him/ I’m peepin’ out his swag, and I see the resemblance.”
He continued spitting over the soul production, “Seen the boy three times, why would I lie?/ Baby moms gon’ bring him through just so we spend some time/ And if he’s mine, I’m stepping up/ Kobe set that example, you know I send my blessings up.”
Underneath the audio clip, Bow Wow added fuel to the rumors by saying, “I’m finally letting you guys in. dont do interviews really but i put my life in my music the answers are there if you LISTEN carefully.”

His bars coincided with Olivia’s claims back when she first revealed that she and the “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” star have a baby together. At the time, the Instagram model said that Bow Wow had already seen their baby and noted that she chose not to make things public because it “saves a lot of headache.”
Earlier this month, Olivia shared the first photo of their baby. In the snap posted on Instagram Stories, the little boy could be seen staring into the distance as he covered himself in a fur blanket and had a dog bone plushie near him. “My dawg for life,” so she said, adding several emoticons that included a red heart and a dog.

  • Bow Wow Pisses XXXTENTACION's Fans Off With Logo for New Song 'Bad Vibes'

    Instagram

The ‘Growing Up Hip Hop’ star is dragged by the late rapper’s fans as they accuse him of stealing the ‘SAD!’ spitter’s logo and name of his posthumous LP.
    Sep 15, 2020
AceShowbiz – The last thing XXXTENTACION’s fans want is their favorite artist getting disrespected. However, that’s exactly what Bow Wow did when he announced on his Twitter account his upcoming song titled “Bad Vibes”.
Fans quickly noticed that the cover artfor the forthcoming song from the “Growing Up Hip Hop” star included a design that was eerily similar to the late rapper’s broken heart logo and name of his posthumous LP, “Bad Vibes Forever”. XXXTENTACION, who died on June 18, 2018 also had the logo tattooed on his face.
“Skeletons in my closet, yea I walk with that/ I’m 4-5 with the comeback, I ain’t lost a step,” Bow raps on the new song. “Now they wanna cancel me/ I Harlem Shake that bulls**t off, come dance with me/ All the money in the world can’t buy a piece of mind/ N***s pocket watching with they hands in mind/ Having bad days know Uncle Snoop gon’ hit my line/ Just to check up on his nephew and make sure he fine/ Real love, dawg, that’s hard to find these days/ That’s why I stay to myself ’cause that’s the safest place.”
“Bow Wow with the braids is back,” so Bow Wow wrote in the caption of the now-deleted post.

It didn’t take long before XXXTENTACION’s fans came at Bow Wow, accusing him of stealing his logo. Among the critics was XXXTENTACION’s close friend DJ Scheme who wrote to him on Twitter, “Delete this lil bro trust.”
“Bow wow is seeking attention because his fame and popularity has gone down the drain and will not come back up. So he’s doing anything he can to build his popularity back up and it’s f***ked up that he was still a dead man logo which will always be XXXTENTACION logo,” one fan slammed Bow Wow.
“He sooo trash he needs to stop making music and now he’s biting x damn homie really fell off hard,” another person commented. “he literally took this exact PNG and put “Bad Vibes” above it in different font. MANS THINKS HES SLICK?” someone else added while another user wrote, “Like, is he drunk… What would make his ass think this is okay. It’s not!!! This kid is on the list of other disrespectful humans toward. @xxxtentacion.”
Bow Wow has yet to address the backlash.

    R. Kelly Accused of Stealing Bow Wow's Song, Rapper Defends Him

    WENN/Instagram/JLN Photography

One individual says on social media, ‘N***a don’t even know that R. Kelly stole that ‘I’m a Flirt’ song from Bow Wow lol the original song is Bow Wow ft. R. Kelly.’
    Apr 30, 2020
AceShowbiz – R. Kelly’s issues just keep increasing as he continues to spend his days behind the bars. This time around, the disgraced singer has been accused of stealing Bow Wow’s song “I’m a Flirt”, though the person in question has since come to his defense.
It all started after someone tweeted, “N***a don’t even know that R. Kelly stole that ‘I’m a Flirt’ song from Bow Wow lol the original song is Bow Wow ft. R. Kelly, this n***a R. Kelly remixed it and didn’t even put Bow Wow on that b***h lmao that’s so petty.” Bow Wow apparently caught wind of the comment and was quick to give a clarification of what really happened behind the scenes.
Quote-retweeting the person’s post, the 33-year-old star said, “I signed off on the record. He gave me my writing credits. I still get paid from both versions. Still a Bow Wow record.”

The original version of “I’m a Flirt” was supposed to serve as the second single off Bow Wow’s fifth album “The Price of Fame” but the decision changed to “Outta My System”. Instead, Kelly remixed the song with T.I. and T-Pain and made it the lead single off his album “Double Up”. It peaked at No. 12 on Billboard’s Hot 100 as the remix got more love than the original.
Kelly is currently behind the bars after being charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. The charges alleged that the singer sexually abused four females, three of whom were minors at the time, from 1998 to 2010. Most recently, Kelly filed an “emergency” request for home confinement due to the Coronavirus pandemic as one detainee on his floor was tested positive for the virus. However, he was denied bail.
