AceShowbiz – Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s reunion for the table read of “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” was finally happening on Thursday night, September 17. Joined by Sean Penn, Matthew McConaughey, Jimmy Kimmel, John Legend, Ray Liotta, Julia Roberts, Shia LaBeouf, Morgan Freeman and Henry Golding, the former couple performed together for the first time 15 years after their divorce.
During the unrehearsed live table read, “The Morning Show” actress played Phoebe Cates’ character Linda Barrett and the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star voiced Brad Hamilton, who was portrayed by Judge Reinhold, in the 1982 movie. The twist was no one knew which part would go to whom, and Jen and Brad’s characters happen to share a saucy scene.
The two former spouses got to reenact the movie’s deeply embarrassing swimsuit sequence, in which Brad’s character fantasizes about jerking off to Jen’s character. “[Linda’s] breasts seem even bigger than usual. Her nipples are hard,” Morgan narrated the scene as the video showed the faces of other participants, including Julia and Matthew, who couldn’t help but crack a smile.
Jen, in her part, maintained a straight face while Brad sheepishly smiled. Then it was Jen’s cue to read her flirty line. “Hi Brad, you know how cute I always thought you were,” she said in his character’s fantasy. “You’re so sexy.”
Fans, of course, couldn’t handle it and Twitter soon erupted with excitement as one gushed, “I LOVE seeing Brad and Jen together on the same screen.” The said user added, “Annnnd there was just a love scene between Brad and Jen’s characters. It was delightfully awkward and ironic and weirdly sweet. I LIVE.”
“jen and brad sharing a scene help,” another delighted viewer reacted. Clearly grateful for the event, a third one commented, “What a coup getting Brad and Jen to play *this* scene together. When charity calls! ‘Doesn’t anybody f**king knock anymore?!’ ”
“Y’all saw Julia Roberts cracking up at Brad & Jen lol,” another noted the other stars’ reactions during the flirty scene. “Actually, Jen coming onto Brad (in character) and telling him he’s sexy is my highlight of 2020 #FastTimesLive,” read another comment.
“That was sooooo cute!!! Hahahahaha Brad and Jen! Brad and Linda!!!” an excited fan exclaimed. Someone else added, “JEN AND BRAD ON VIRTUAL TABLE READ HUHU.”
Hosted by comedian Dane Cook, the table read has raised $50,000 and counting for Sean’s nonprofit CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort). The event was originally scheduled for a month ago but delayed by “technical difficulties.”

    Jun 22, 2020
AceShowbiz – Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock were among the stars paying tribute to frontline workers worldwide for their efforts during the coronavirus crisis on Sunday night’s, June 21 “United We Sing: A Grammy Tribute to the Unsung Heroes”.

The two-hour CBS special followed Harry Connick Jr. and his filmmaker daughter Georgia, as they went on a road trip from New York City to Harry’s hometown of New Orleans.

Along the way, they met a number of ‘heroes’, from medical staff to supermarket workers, as Harry surprised them with messages from an array of stars, also including Tim McGraw and Queen Latifah.
“Interstellar” actor Brad gave a special shoutout to Darnell Rudolph, a waste management worker in New Orleans, who wore a mask and gloves as he continued to clean the streets from trash and litter.
After Harry thanked him for everything that he does, the hitmaker brought up an iPad with Brad on conference call. Darnell gushed he “loves the work he did after (Hurricane) Katrina,” as Brad admits he “has such love for that city”.
“You’re motivating us to keep up the great work,” the star added.
Harry also visited Joy Palmer, a Regional Transit Authority manager who lost her husband to Covid-19 in March, and introduced her to Sandra – who confessed she “just wanted to take this time to thank you for your service and your contributions to keep everyone safe”.
She continued that sometimes in isolation, “some people don’t realise how bright their light is,” adding she has “love for New Orleans” because it’s where her adopted son Louis was born.
She added that there is a “bright light at the end of this and you will be leading us out of it,” before wishing Joy well.

The show, presented by officials at the Recording Academy and U.S. network CBS, raised money for various children’s charities, including No Kid Hungry, as well as the Grammy organisation’s MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund to aid struggling musicians.

Brad Pitt Lays Bare Emotional Side on Premiere Episode of 'Celebrity IOU'

    WENN

Joining the ‘Property Brothers’ stars, Jonathan and Drew Scott, in their new HGTV show, the ‘Once Upon A Time in Hollywood’ actor surprises longtime friend Jean Black with a home makeover.
    Apr 14, 2020
AceShowbiz – Brad Pitt wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to those he cares deeply. Being the celebrity guest in the premiere episode of HGTV’s “Celebrity IOU”, the “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” actor laid bare his emotional side onscreen as he surprised a longtime friend with a home makeover.
Joining the “Property Brothers” stars, Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott, in their brand new show, the 56-year-old Oscar winner named makeup artist Jean Black as his pick for the surprise home renovation. “She’s family, we’re like brother and sister. She’s been that person I value so much in my life,” he reasoned.
In the episode, the ex-husband of Angelina Jolie could be seen getting his hands dirty to help transform Jean’s garage into a guesthouse complete with bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Talking about his hands-on approach, he explained, “I love the sound of a construction site. If I’m not building, I’m dying. Just walk into a place and just see the possibilities.”
Upon seeing the final result of the renovation, Brad gushed, “It was such a s**t box, this is amazing. It’s fantastic. I’ve been waiting so long to see something happen to this dump.” Jean herself was stunned by the makeover. “I’m really just so flabbergasted,” she said. “It’s really very moving and I just so appreciate it. I know Brad’s generosity, it’s huge.”
“But for him to do this, it’s really more than I ever thought could happen. I am so touched by this, I could really not thank you enough,” Jean continued on expressing her gratitude before giving her pal Brad a hug. It was not until she whispered, “I love you, Brad,” that he himself got teary eyed.

Speaking about Brad’s appearance in the show, Jonathan praised the Hollywood star for being “a true gentleman in every sense of the word.” The TV personality explained, “He wanted everybody to feel like he was spending some time getting to know them. And at the very end he remembered every single person’s name on the production crew and on the construction crew. He remembered everybody and wanted to make sure that they knew how grateful he was for what was happening.”
“Celebrity IOU” premiered at 9 P.M. on Monday, April 13. The series would follow a number of celebrities, including Michael Buble, Viola Davis, Melissa McCarthy, Rebel Wilson and Jeremy Renner, in paying back to those who helped them become a star.

Shania Twain 'Very Proud' of Brad Pitt Despite Iconic Lyrics in 'That Don't Impress Me Much'

    WENN/Avalon/Adriana M. Barraza

Speaking of her 1997 hit song that is still so popular more than 20 years after its release, the ‘You’re Still the One’ singer admits, ‘I didn’t realize it would go this far or be memorable.’
    Mar 16, 2020
AceShowbiz – Shania Twain has reversed her view of Brad Pitt, after famously singing the actor didn’t “impress” her “much.”
Back in 1997, the Canadian star dropped her massive hit “That Don’t Impress Me Much”, which included the lyric, “Okay, so you’re Brad Pitt – that don’t impress me much!”
However, Shania, now 54, has had time to re-think the line, and she told Britain’s The Daily Telegraph she is now a huge fan of the 56-year-old Oscar winner.
“I must say I’m very impressed by Brad’s wonderful career,” she gushed, praising his role in director Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” which earned Pitt the gong last month (February).
“He’s been getting some great accolades recently, so I’m very proud of Brad,” Shania added. “I hope he takes it (old lyric) with the sense of humour that was intended.”
The “Up!” singer added she’s amazed her old hit is still so popular more than 20 years after its release, telling the publication: “I like to write with a sense of humour… I didn’t realise it would go this far or be memorable. I’m thrilled that reference has lasted the test of time.”

Donald Trump's Son Eric Blames 'Smug Elitists' Like Brad Pitt for Oscars Low Ratings

    WENN/Instar/Avalon

Commenting on the 2020 Academy Awards ratings which hit an all-time low, the second son of the president calls out the ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ actor and others for their political speeches at the ceremony.
    Feb 12, 2020
AceShowbiz – Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump has singled out Brad Pitt for his political speech at the 2020 Academy Awards. Calling the 56-year-old actor one of “smug elitists,” the third-eldest child and the second son of the president blamed him for the Oscars low ratings.
On late Monday, February 10, Eric shared on his Instagram page Fox Business’ post that featured a photo of Brad at the 92nd annual prize-giving event, with the caption, “Oscars ratings fall 25% to all-time low.” Weighing in on audience’s lack of interest in the live ceremony, the executive vice president of the Trump Organization wrote, “Probably because Americans don’t liked to be preached to by smug elitists. The elegance has been lost and America has tuned these people out of their homes…”
Agreeing with the 36-year-old businessman, one follower wrote in the comment section, “I proudly do not watch any awards shows for that reason.” Another further slammed Hollywood stars as writing, “A waste of time. I didn’t watch it. The actors don’t like us just our money. Stop watching their movies. Then they may care what we think.”
Sharing the same opinion, a third user commented, “I don’t doubt it. Hollywood is sold out to the Demonocrats.” Another added, “You are absolutely correct, sir!!!! ‘Ain’t nobody got time for that crap!’ ”
While accepting the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, his first-ever acting Oscar, Brad addressed the Senate’s impeachment acquittal of President Trump. “They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week,” he began his speech, referencing the former national security adviser who was not allowed to testify by the Senate during the proceedings.
He then joked that “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” helmer Quentin Tarantino, might make a film about the controversial hearings. “I’m thinking maybe Quentin does a movie about it and in the end, the adults do the right thing,” he added.
Despite the historical night that witnessed “Parasite” big win, the Oscars telecast only averaged 23.6 million viewers on Sunday night, the smallest audience ever in the show’s history. The ratings fell 20 percent in year-to-year viewers from 29.56 million for last year’s ceremony.
