    Dec 16, 2020
AceShowbiz – Dionne Warwick is set to release a duet with Chance the Rapper and The Weeknd.
The music legend – who was recently dubbed the Queen of Twitter – jokingly trolled the pair on the micro-blogging site and now she’s announced the release of their song, “Nothing’s Impossible”, which will benefit the Hunger Not Impossible initiative.
The collaboration is written and produced by Dionne’s son Damon Elliott.
“My mom and I had a moment to speak with Chance after she Tweeted him about the word ‘the’ in his name,” Damon said in a statement. “They had such an amazing conversation that led to them discussing the Hunger Not Impossible initiative.”
“The result of our conversation with Chance is this new single we’ll be recording soon and we’re all looking forward to this collaboration. We’re trying to make this something that will permeate the entire Earth, so that there are no more hungry people everywhere or anywhere.”
In a video message, the Grammy-winner announced on Twitter, “Hey everybody. I am so excited, I can’t tell you. I can’t contain myself. The Weeknd has agreed to join Chance the Rapper and myself on our song Nothing’s Impossible.”
The 80-year-old also wrote, “I’m still on a mission to end foolishness by 2021. It looks like @theweeknd and @chancetherapper are joining me. Who’s next? (I edited this video myself).”

Dionne had asked Chance why he chose to add the words “the rapper” to his name when it’s “obvious” he is a rapper.
She wrote earlier this month, “Hi, @chancetherapper. If you are very obviously a rapper why did you put it in your stage name? I cannot stop thinking about this.”
And the “Holy” hitmaker responded, “Sorry I’m still freaking out that u know who I am. This is amazing! I will be whatever you wanna call me Ms Warwick. God bless you.”
Dionne then suggested the pair record a rap together.
She replied, “Of course I know you. You’re THE rapper. Let’s rap together. I’ll message you.”
It was then The Weeknd’s turn and she decided to ask the “Blinding Lights” hitmaker why he spells his name incorrectly.
She wrote, “The Weeknd is next. Why? It’s not even spelled correctly?” to which he gushed, “I just got roasted by Dionne Warwick and I feel honoured! You just made my day.”

Dionne Warwick Deems 'Saturday Night Live' Spoof of Her 'a Hilarious Birthday Gift'

    Instagram

In a ‘Dionne Warwick Talk Show’ skit aired on December 12, Ego Nwodim impersonates the ‘Walk On By’ singer as she presses her guests about her social media feud with Wendy Williams.

    Dec 14, 2020
AceShowbiz – Dionne Warwick was delighted over her “Saturday Night Live” parody. Upon learning that she got impersonated by Ego Nwodim in a “Dionne Warwick Talk Show” skit for the December 12 episode of the sketch comedy show, the “Walk On By” songstress was quick to share her thought, calling the spoof “a hilarious birthday gift.”
The legendary singer, who turned 80 on Saturday, December 12, took to Twitter to offer her reaction. “This was a hilarious birthday gift. Thank you, @nbcsnl,” she gushed. “That young lady’s impression of me was very good and who knew @BrittaniWarrick had so many jobs?” In another tweet, she praised Ego by writing, “You did a wonderful job, baby. You are a star. @eggy_boom.”

Dionne Warwick called her ‘Saturday Night Live’ parody ‘a hilarious birthday gift’.
In the “Dionne Warwick Talk Show” skit, Ego’s Dionne sat down for some chats with a number of guests. They included Harry Styles who was played by Timothee Chalamet, Billie Eilish, portrayed by Melissa Villasenor, Timothee Chalamet parodied by Chloe Fineman, and Machine Gun Kelly who was impersonated by his pal Pete Davidson.

When chatting with Timothee’s Harry, Ego’s Dionne pressed him about her social media feud with Wendy Williams. She asked, “Why is Wendy Williams being a b***h to me? She started beefing and now she’s acting like she can’t finish.” In response, the fake Harry replied, “I’m sorry, I don’t know who Wendy Williams is.” The host then quipped, “Yeah, I knew I liked your a**.”
The “That’s What Friends Are For” hitmaker’s impersonator later jokingly asked Melissa’s “Billie Eyelash” to put a hex on the 56-year-old TV host. She stated, “Billie Eyelash, you’re spooky. Can you put a hex on Wendy Williams for me?”
The “SNL” sketch came days after Dionne blasted Wendy on Twitter for making bad remarks about her on the latter’s show. “A friend alerted me that Wendy Williams was spending a lot of not nice time speaking on me. I tuned in to her show to catch the last few minutes of her speaking about me and as in the past she seems not to be able to speak without maliciously made comments,” she wrote the December 9 post.
“My hope is my name will refrain from being spoken or thought of by her as this conversation was held a few years ago letting her know there was nor would be any need for her to say the name Dionne Warwick for any reason. I don’t believe one has to be mean to get noticed,” she continued. “There’s an old saying you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar! Try it Wendy you might like it!”

'The Masked Singer' Recap: The Mouse Is Unmasked to Be Legendary Superstar

    FOX

The new episode of the hit FOX singing competition series features performances by Group B that is made of the Mouse, the Banana, the Frog, the Taco and the Kitty.
    Feb 27, 2020
AceShowbiz – “The Masked Singer” returned with a new episode on Wednesday, February 26. The episode featured performances by Group B that was made of the Mouse, the Banana, the Frog, the Taco and the Kitty.
Kicking off the night was the Banana, who sang Billy Ray Cyrus classic “Achy Breaky Heart”. He gave the panelists, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy, clues by saying that his favorite subject in school was art. That prompted the panelists to think that the Banana might be Larry the Cable Guy, Ed Helms or Billy Bob Thornton.

The next performer was the Mouse. She, who said that ‘stage is like my second home,’ performed “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole. The guesses included Tina Turner and Ellis Ross with Robin being convinced that the Mouse was Dionne Warwick because of the gold clues in the clue packages.

The Frog then hit the stage to perform a rather weird arrangement of 50 Cent’s “In Da Club”. His clue package included more Prince references, a basketball and toy soldiers. The panel guessed that Frog could be Alfonso Ribeiro, Kevin Hart or Omarion. Later, the Taco offered a performance of “Bossa Nova Baby” by Elvis Presley. The guesses for the Taco included Harry Connick Jr., Seth MacFarlane, Ted Danson or Alec Baldwin.

The Kitty, meanwhile, blew everyone’s mind with a performance of Brett Young’s “Mercy”. Her voice, which was strong yet tender at the same time, successfully captivated people’s hearts. As for the guesses, the panelists threw out names like Millie Bobby Brown, Amanda Seyfried or Sarah Hyland.

It was later revealed that the Mouse received the lowest voting and had to be unmasked. For the final guess, Robin, Nicole and Jenny all agreed that she might be Dionne while Ken guessed Tina Turner. It was then revealed that the Mouse was indeed Dionne Warwick!
