AceShowbiz – Iggy Azalea has shut down speculation she’s quitting music to start a new career as a YouTuber.
The “Sally Walker” rapper, 30, has faced questions from longtime fans over whether or not she plans to venture into content creation full-time after sharing a number of clips on her channel not related to music.
“Are you going to become a YouTuber or did you give up on that idea?” a fan asked on Twitter, prompting “Fancy” star Iggy to quickly set the record straight.

“I don’t wanna ‘become a YouTuber’ I just think it could be fun to post videos from time to time that are not music related,” she responded. “Def gonna do it! But probably in 2021 since this year is cursed.”
The hitmaker has collaborated with some of the biggest stars on YouTube over the past year, including make-up mogul James Charles and “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star Trixie Mattel. She’s also built a following of more than 2.4 million fans on TikTok.
It’s been a busy year for the star who welcomed son Onyx with her ex, Playboi Carti, and has also been working on the follow-up to her 2019 LP, “In My Defense”.
“Not gonna lie, sometimes I feel demotivated as hell,” the femcee recently admitted to struggling to find inspiration during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. “I’m not saying that stops me from doing anything. I’m just saying I’m a lazy b**ch.”

Iggy Azalea Previews New Music in Sultry Video

    Instagram

The new song, on which the Australian star is rapping about waking up with an ‘attitude,’ most likely will be included in ‘End of an Era’ which is planned to be released sometime in 2021.

    Nov 5, 2020
AceShowbiz – Iggy Azalea is serving attitude in her new Instagram post. The “Fancy” hitmaker, who just welcomed her baby boy Onyx earlier this year, has taken to her Instagram account to tease her fans with a snippet from her third upcoming album, “End of an Era”.
In a new video, the Australian star threw a seductive look at the camera while she was lying on bed in a dim-lit room. The new mom appeared to forgo a top as she went shirtless for the clip.

Her sexy look aside, fans were excited to hear a little from her new music. She could be heard rapping, “Woke up this morning with a motherf**kin’ attitude/ Woke up this morning with ya baby daddy mad at you/ What? Don’t let him get too comfortable.”

The song most likely will be included in “End of an Era”, which is planned to be released in 2021. The albu, was initially set to arrive over the summer but it’s getting pushed back to the next year.
The delay might have something to do with her being pregnant with ex Playboi Carti’s child. The rapper, who first sparked pregnancy rumors in December 2019, was rumored to give birth to her baby in April. She remained mum until she finally broke her silence two months later. “I have a son,” the femcee revealed.
“I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world?” she added. “I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret & I love him beyond words.
In October, Iggy confirmed that she broke up with Playboi as she wrote on Instagram, “You lost a real 1!!! People take loyalty for granted & that’s why I’d rather be alone!!” She later confirmed the breakup in another note, “What I meant last night was that I’m raising my son alone & I’m not in a relationship.”

    Instagram

The ‘Fancy’ hitmaker admits to feeling ‘demotivated as hell’ as the ongoing coronavirus pandemic delays her new music and leads to the cancellation of live shows.
    Oct 9, 2020
AceShowbiz – Iggy Azalea is struggling to find motivation as the Covid-19 pandemic continues.
With live shows and promotional opportunities off the cards amid the crisis, Iggy’s been spending the majority of time home with her infant son Onyx – and being a mum hasn’t left her much time to focus on her music career.
“Not gonna lie, sometimes I feel demotivated as hell,” the Fancy rapper tweeted. “I’m not saying that stops me from doing anything. I’m just saying I’m a lazy b**ch.”
The hitmaker also responded to a fan who demanded to know when their signed copy of her last single, “Dance Like Nobody’s Watching”, will arrive, insisting, “They haven’t even made them yet.”

“It’s covid problems unfortunately,” she explained. “S**t is even slower now than ever with manufacturers – that’s why I didn’t even do vinyl. The wait times to make them right now are insane.”
Iggy is believed to have welcomed Onyx in April (20) with rapper Playboi Carti after hiding her pregnancy from the public before sharing the news in June.
“I have a son. I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realise I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world,” she wrote.
“I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret and I love him beyond words,” the “Fancy” hitmaker added, alongside a blue love-heart emoji.

  • Iggy Azalea Back in Studio After Returning to Los Angeles With Baby Son

    Instagram

The ‘Fancy’ hitmaker is returning to the recording booth for new music a couple of days after she was pictured arriving in Los Angeles with baby boy and boyfriend Playboi Carti.
    Jul 15, 2020
AceShowbiz – Iggy Azalea isn’t letting her responsibilities as a new mum get in the way of her recording career.
The “Fancy” rapper finally confirmed she is a first-time mum last month (Jun20) after secretly welcoming a baby boy with fellow rapper Playboi Carti, with the star insisting she wants to “keep his life private.”
Confirmation of the news came after months of reports from insiders alleging the star was pregnant and, in late April, that she’d welcomed a son with her beau.
However, parenthood isn’t forcing the star to slow down her career, as she took to her Instagram Stories late on Sunday (12Jul20) night to share clips of herself working hard on new music.
Back in May, Iggy confirmed a new album was on the way. The Australian star released her sophomore effort “In My Defense” last year to poor critical reviews and low sales, with the album debuting at number 50 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
She recently joked she’s set to become a “two hit wonder” by teaming up with “Old Town Road” hitmaker Lil Nas X on new music, after the rapper approached her for a collaboration on social media.

Iggy Azalea Confirms She's Back in Studio Amid Baby Rumors

    Instagram

The ‘Fancy’ hitmaker confirms her third studio installment as she reveals to her social media followers that she’s back in Los Angeles working on the new album.
    May 23, 2020
AceShowbiz – Rapper Iggy Azalea has confirmed she is recording a new album in Los Angeles following reports of becoming a new mum.
The “Fancy” hitmaker is rumoured to have welcomed her first child with MC boyfriend Playboi Carti at the end of April 2020 and although she has yet to comment on the baby hearsay, the star has verified she is in the studio working on her third LP.
Iggy wrote in response to a fan on Twitter who inquired if she was in Los Angeles, California recording an album, “Yes & Yes.”
The Australian star released her sophomore effort “In My Defense” last year to poor critical reviews and low sales, with the album debuting at number 50 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
DJ Akademiks was the first to publicly acknowledge rumours of Iggy becoming a mother on May 1 when he told his Instagram followers, “Talked to some ppl (people)… allegedly this is true. Congrats to #playboicarti and #iggyazalea if it is.”
Neither Iggy nor Playboi have commented on the baby news. Azalea continues to post images of herself on her Instagram account donning clothing that bares her trim belly, suggesting pushback on talks of parenthood.

Iggy Azalea Calls Azealia Banks 'Dumb' for Threatening to Get Her Song Removed

    Instagram

The ‘Black Widow’ raptress responds after the ‘212’ hitmaker announces that she has trademarked ‘p***ypop’ and taunts the Aussie star, ‘positively will come after her for using one of my Brand Names.’
    May 21, 2020
AceShowbiz – Iggy Azalea is not letting Azealia Banks’ mean-spirited posts ruin her mood. The Australian star, who is reported to have recently welcomed her first child with her boyfriend Playboi Carti, has responded after her longtime nemesis claimed to have trademarked the word “p***ypop” and threatened to get Iggy’s song “P***y” removed.
Instead of getting worked up, the 29-year-old raptress doesn’t seem to be bothered by Azealia’s threat. “Actually that’s not the way copy right works,” she posted on Twitter on Tuesday, May 19 after learning of the New York City’s artist’s announcement. “I don’t sell soap names that so it doesn’t matter. That’s not even how trademark works.” Calling out Azealia, she added, “The girls are dumb. Move on.”
Iggy went on arguing why Azealia’s threat misfired, “Also my track list is P***y Pop not ‘p***ypop’. It isn’t even the word she has trademarked.” She went on telling her fans to stop worrying about this, writing, “Please stop feeding into this type of dumb s**t & ignore her I hate seeing you guys get upset or worried about nonsense.”
Earlier on the same day, Azealia took to her Instagram Stories to announce, “I officially own the trademarks for P***YPOP & BUSSYBOY. Today is an excellent day.” Taunting her nemesis, she added in the post, “@thenewclassic I would have your team remove ‘P***ypop’ before things get ugly.”
“Definitely have proof of usage prior to her song release as well as a slew of disparaging tweets from her about my company. Absolutely, positively will come after her for using one of my Brand Names,” she went on claiming, before making her point, “Can’t make a song called ‘Doritos’ if the CEO of Doritos does not approve of usage. I do not approve of usage.”

Many have since slammed Azealia for her petty move, with one commenting, “She gotta be embarrassed at this point . Bc I am for her.” Another called her out, “She’s soo bitter sheesh,” while some others called her “miserable” and “toxic.”
Someone else slammed her as “mentally ill,” while a fan of Iggy warned her to “leave iggy alone. F**k.” Fed up with her bitterness, one other complained, “Azealia really gotta grow up, this behavior is so tired and boring at this point.”

Iggy Azalea Takes a Break From Music

    Instagram

The ‘Fancy’ hitmaker announces music hiatus in a bid to find inspirations for her next studio album two months after dropping a mini album called ‘Wicked Lips’.
    Feb 22, 2020
AceShowbiz – Iggy Azalea is taking a hiatus from music following a turbulent few months.
On Monday, February 17, 2020, the “Sally Walker” hitmaker told fans that “time away is needed” so she could work on new musical concepts, insisting she “hasn’t forgotten” them.
Iggy added, “When I’m back: you’ll know. And I will be back.”
The 29-year-old Fancy rapper’s career appeared to stall when her sophomore album, “In My Defense”, only debuted at No. 50 on the Billboard 200 when it was released back in July 2019 – five years after her debut release topped the same chart.
Its follow-up, the “Wicked Lips” EP, was plagued by a series of delays, and failed to chart upon release in December.
Meanwhile, the hitmaker was the victim of a $350,000 home burglary in November, and later separated from her boyfriend, rapper Playboi Carti – although they appeared to have reconciled amid a string of Instagram posts last month.

Model Broderick Hunter Calls Iggy Azalea 'Black Queen of Rap' and Internet Is Confused

    Instagram

Taking to his Twitter account, the 29-year-old model says, ‘Just wanna let y’all know Iggy Azalea was the black Queen of rap we deserved but y’all let her slip through the cracks.’
    Feb 20, 2020
AceShowbiz – Broderick Hunter made some confusing comments on Wednesday, February 19. The model successfully got a lot of his Twitter followers baffled when he took to the bird site to heap praises for Iggy Azalea and even call her the “black queen of rap.”
Alongside a GIF of a black man getting into a car while laughing, Broderick wrote, “Before I hit these meetings, just wanna let y’all know Iggy Azalea was the black Queen of rap we deserved but y’all let her slip through the cracks. We’ll save that for a later conversation.”

    Broderick Hunter praised Iggy Azalea.
Though there’s a chance that he might be trolling, people were still sent to confusion the moment they read his post. “Broderick, you okay, baby? Everything alright at home?” someone asked, while another commented, “Ew. After all these years of lusting after you I’m finally disappointed.” One other refused to believe Broderick made the comment himself as saying, “I really hope someone hacked your Twitter because this ain’t it baby.”
“It’s too early for this man… Save this when west coast twitter is up too… we need all the help with this one,” a different person wrote. “None of this tweet makes sense to me. Am I not getting the sarcasm???” another seemed confused, as someone else reminded him, “It’s Black history month. Have some respect on our name.”
There were also people who thought that he might be mistaking Azealia Banks for Iggy. “I think you meant to say Azealia Banks sweetheart,” one person said. “Did u mean azealia banks? Cuz none of this added up. Not even the gif,” someone told him, while another echoed, “This is Iggy I think you meant Azealia Banks which she’s talented but won’t get out of her own way so she’s problematic.”
