Jonas Brothers Deny Split Rumors, Promise 'Exciting Stuff' Is Coming

    WENN

Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas have set the record straight on the rumors suggesting that their ‘reunion is over’ ahead of Nick’s new solo single and Joe’s upcoming movie.

    Feb 26, 2021
AceShowbiz – The Jonas Brothers have denied they are splitting up again and teased new music is in the pipeline.
The “Sucker” hitmakers – comprising siblings Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas – have quashed a recent report that suggested their reunion was “effectively over” and told fans on Twitter that they have some “exciting stuff” coming up “together and apart.”
Marking the second anniversary to the day the trio announced their comeback (24Feb21), they wrote, “That day and every day that followed has meant everything to us Red heart Playing music together, getting back on the road, seeing all of your faces in the crowd, hearing your stories… Our 2019 (and even some of 2020!) was so special and it’s all because of how amazing you guys are … We have the best fans in the world and we love you so much! We all have a ton of exciting stuff coming (together and apart Winking face) and we can’t wait for you guys to hear all about it.”

The clarification comes after Nick announced his new solo single, “Spaceman”, while Joe was recently cast in the upcoming war movie “Devotion”.
In February last year, the siblings revealed they had been “working hard” on a new album, but coronavirus then hit before they could announce the record.
Nick said at the time, “We have been back in the studio with Ryan Tedder, working hard on the new record, which is going to be announced in the next couple of weeks – title, tracklist, all that.”
The “Lovebug” group released their comeback album, “Happiness Begins”, in July 2019.

Jonas Brothers Shelve New Album as Their Reunion Is 'Effectively Over'

    Instagram

Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas are reportedly taking another break from their band as they put on hold their plan for a follow-up album to ‘Happiness Begins’.

    Feb 23, 2021
AceShowbiz – The Jonas Brothers’ reunion is said to be “effectively over.”
The family trio – siblings Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas – reunited in February 2019, almost six years after they split in October 2013, due to a “deep rift” within the band, but coronavirus hit their plans for a follow-up album to comeback record “Happiness Begins” and all three reportedly now feel they have “moved on” from their music as so much time has passed.
“The Jonas Brothers’ reunion is effectively over for now,” a source close to the band told Britain’s The Sun newspaper. “They had an album ready to go and were about to announce it last March but then the pandemic happened and everything was postponed.”
“Since then they’ve all been working on their own projects and they feel like they’ve moved on from that music. There’s been no big falling out this time, but realistically it will be a while before they do music as a trio again.”

The news comes after Nick announced he’ll release a new solo single, “Spaceman”, later this week (beg22Feb21), while Joe was recently cast in upcoming war movie “Devotion”.
In February last year (20), the “Sucker” hitmakers revealed they had been “working hard” on a new album, but coronavirus then hit before they could announce the record.
Nick said at the time, “We have been back in the studio with Ryan Tedder, working hard on the new record, which is going to be announced in the next couple of weeks – title, tracklist, all that.”
A new album was listed for pre-order on the group’s website but it has now been removed, and last year, they shelved plans for a memoir, “Blood”, following a series of delays.

Jonas Brothers Give a Peek at 'Happiness Continues', Unveil Release Date

    Instagram

During a livestream QnA, Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas surprise fans with announcement that they will be offering a new documentary on Amazon Prime Video, and talk about their social-distancing struggles.
    Apr 24, 2020
AceShowbiz – Jonas Brothers have piqued fans’ curiosity about their upcoming documentary. Following the success of “Chasing Happiness”, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas announced a release date for their second documentary, “Happiness Continues”, and offered a teaser at the Amazon Prime Video project.
When hosting a livestream Q&A on Instagram on Thursday, April 23, the “Sucker” hitmakers surprised fans and followers with the revelation over their new concert movie. Sharing the news from their respective quarantine places, the trio revealed that their project would be made available at midnight on Friday, April 24.
Prior to the announcement, the brothers dropped a trailer for the documentary on the group’s social media page. The trailer itself was kicked off with Joe stating, “I thought I was done with the Jonas Brothers.” He then cheekily added, “Hell no,” before footage transitioned to show their “Happiness Begins” tour, them goofing around, and being joined by wives Danielle Deleasa, Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner.
The documentary would also include how Joe, Nick and Kevin prepared themselves before they got on stage to perform in front of their fans. During their livestream Q&A, Joe joked about being slapped in the face for his preparation. “A lot of times it was Sophie,” he quipped.

On a more serious side, the musician brothers were asked by one particular fan about their favorite thing about their long-awaited reunion. Kevin replied, “Having my family see the show for the first time and be able to see us making music again.”
Elsewhere during the chat, the brothers discussed the difficulties they faced amid the coronavirus lockdown. Kevin confided that he has to re-learn mathematics for his 6-year-old daughter Alena. “Alena is a really good student, she wants to learn, she’s very good at math,” he said, noting that “patience is a virtue that gets tested.”
Joe, on the other hand, encountered some problems with Zoom which people resorted to use for meeting or learning since the outbreak of the novel pandemic kept them from coming to the office and schools. “I keep forgetting you have to turn off your camera, if you’re using the bathroom or something,” he jokingly spilled.

Jonas Brothers, Lionel Richie and More Pull the Plug on Shows In Light of Coronavirus

    WENN/Avalon/Judy Eddy

The ‘Suckers’ hitmakers announce on their Instagram Story handle that while they are ‘excited’ to perform their April run of gigs at Park MGM, ‘nothing is more important than everyone’s health and safety.’
    Mar 14, 2020
AceShowbiz – The Jonas Brothers, Lionel Richie, and Diana Ross have pulled out of concert residencies in Las Vegas as coronavirus concerns continue to cripple the entertainment industry.
While various authorities across the U.S. have implemented restrictions on mass gatherings to combat the spread of COVID-19, prompting tour cancellations from a spate of stars, no such measure has been introduced for Sin City just yet, leaving resort officials to tackle the issue themselves.
On Friday, March 13, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, and Kevin Jonas announced they were scrapping their April run of gigs at Park MGM as a result of the global pandemic.
“We did not make this decision lightly,” they explained in a statement. “We were SO excited for the opportunity to share an amazing show with you guys, but nothing is more important than everyone’s health and safety.”
“We are so sad to disappoint you guys, but it’s important for everyone to do what we can to keep everyone healthy.”
The “Sucker” hitmakers captioned the social media post, “We love you guys and we are praying for everyone’s safety and wellness. We’ll see you soon.”

Meanwhile, bosses at the Wynn Las Vegas have postponed dates for their residency stars, including Lionel’s Friday and Saturday night gigs, and Diana’s shows, which were due to launch at the Encore Theater on April 8.
A similar decision is expected to be made about British pop star Robbie Williams’ Live in Las Vegas residency, also housed at the Encore Theater, which is currently billed to resume on March 24.

    Mar 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – The Jonas Brothers took to Instagram on Friday, February 28, 2020 to mark a year since they began their hugely successful comeback with chart-topping hit, “Sucker”.
The group stormed charts worldwide with the track, and enjoyed similar success with comeback album “Happiness Begins”, which was met with rave reviews from fans and critics alike.
Fresh off their Happiness Begins Tour, singers Kevin Jonas, Nick Jonas, and Joe Jonas took to social media to reflect on the past 12 months, which they described as “insane.”

We’re so happy to have the best fans in the world. We’re the lucky ones.”

Nick, 27, also posted photos from the “Sucker” music video on his personal page, the first with his wife, Priyanka Chopra, and gushed, “We have the best fans in the world and we get to do all of this as a family?! Happy 1 Year to you guys and we love you all. Thank you!”

Thanks so much for everything this past year,” with eldest brother Kevin, 32, also thanking fans “for everything,” adding, “We are all so grateful for this journey and thankful we have you guys to share it with. Here’s to another incredible year!!!”
The Jonas Brothers are set to head to Las Vegas for nine shows at the Park Theater at Park MGM from April 1 to 18, as part of the Jonas Brothers in Vegas show, and teased plans for new music will be announced “in the next couple of weeks.”
